but the general idea is to help those in need with basic living expenses like housing, energy bills, health care, day care, cell phones, public transportation, even abortions in some places, etc.
at little or no cost to them because it's primarily funded by federal and state collected tax dollars. but people on the services are typically required to still have some kind of job on the books to continue getting help.
but I know the system if faulted since some people will abuse it to collect from it most of their lives and making it harder for others.
