I personally don't think they should be done... But! Neither should the guns shoot people... but if my home is being robbed, my family is threatened, will I rather shoot one to save my family? Absolutely. Again, shooting is wrong, prevention and eliminating the need is better.

While I don't think abortions should be illegal, I think they're stupid for the most part. It's like shitting in the kitchen just to have to clean it up... it's a mess...
But the authorities never cared about morality, not even conservatives. It's all about slavery.

Another interesting point is that hard core Christians use religion to forbid abortions, not realizing that even the bible gives instructions to induce miscarriage.

That’s a lengthy way to say that if a woman cheats on her husband and gets pregnant, the priest is to perform an abortion by having her drink “bitter water.”

No rules or regulations can make peace if the people are stupid. They do work to divide and conquer.

Well, when the supreme court decided it was no longer a constitutional right and kicked it back to the people and their elected officials this is what happened. Then some of the near total bans in certain states ignored how many young girls children will get pregnant from child abuse because our society still hasn't found a way to eliminate child abuse, sure women can get pregnant from rape but adult women often know more about getting emergency contraception tha na child 10 to 12 years of age. I think these bans will highlight to attrocities that are happening in our society. (All the naysayers talk about how rare abortions from rape and incest are, well sure but rare means it still happens and now we'll hear about it more and more from the politicians left.) There are also areas in the south that are healthcare deserts where prenatal care is limited, practically non-existant and black women already have a maternal mortality rate 5 times higher than white women in some of these states with bans. Other women will turn to desperate measures and have an unsafe abortion, and possible die from that.

I would love it if we could end the abortion debate, I don't like them either but I know that there is potential for terrrible things to happen with these bans. I hope we can try to find a way to prevent the need but until we have a perfect country I doubt it.
