I see nothing wrong with it. I like long, detailed paragraphs lol
Do you get annoyed by people who text long paragraphs?
I see nothing wrong with it. I like long, detailed paragraphs lol
I think one of the most frustrating things to me in today’s world is how short people’s attention spans are. If you can’t read a few paragraphs without difficulty then you’re basically illiterate lmfao. It drove me nuts at my last job. I would send a text or email to my staff with detailed and precise directions for a task, being very careful to include all the needed information. Almost every single one of them would come back with questions that were already answered in the original email🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ Like there’s only two explanations: A) you’re impossibly stupid, or B) you just read a sentence or two and just couldn’t be fucked to do your job that you’re paid to do and read the entirety of an email from your boss. That’s it, there’s no “C.” And these weren’t five page emails, this is just like 300 words on how to perform your task. I like to answer questions ahead of time so you don’t need to ask them. Here’s the “where, why, when, who, and how”, and here’s the contingency plan for the most likely obstacles you may encounter. “Go to Joe’s Bodega. Show up around 11 AM. Joe won’t be there, talk to his wife Jane. The delivery will be out back by the loading dock. Set up everything according to the plan in the attached file. The file will have the planogram instructions and the pricing. Jane will print shelf labels for you to put up. 150 cases coming, so this should take between 4-6 hours. Call me with an questions or issues.” And then, invariably, I’ll get a text like “Joe’s not here, what do I do?”🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️
I had a friend ("had", I cut him out of my life because of how annoying he was) he didn't just type long paragraphs. He typed entire essays. And then he also started sending 15min voice messages. I writing back "don't send me voice messages I don't listen to any of them".
FIFTEEN MINITE voice messages? 🤣🤣🤣 Wow, a person has to be really into themselves to take it that far
It depends on who is texting me those long paragraphs and if they are only going to rant to me about their problems without being there for me when I am there for them then yes, that indeed becomes very irritating to deal with.
No I don't get annoyed by people who text me long paragraphs that make me I'm special for them. And I feel sometimes I'm not supposed to long texts to people I afraid they will get annoyed for my text

I feel like it depends on the context.
Complete answers and questions are nice, but it’s not nice if it’s more like them rambling and monologuing.
I’d say, as long as it still feels like a back and forth discussion, you’re good. 👍
What I don't like is when so. eone uses texting shorthand way of spelling. Examples: 2 - to , 4 - for, r - are, c - see, b - be, k - okay, pls or please - please, b4 - before, 2morrow - tomorrow, icymi - in case you missed it. To me it comes across as lazy and looks unintelligent. I say spell how peple had to before social media, messengers and even chat rooms were a thing.
I actually prefer long paragraphs (it's what I do) rather than 15 messages of 3-5 words each. My phone beeps for each message, so it drives me batshit insane when it just constantly beeps over and over.
No since I do it, I’m trying to get a though out, if I was talking it would take about 30s to say vs texting take a lot longer, I’d rather get what I have to say out in 1 texted instead of multiple texts
I don't mind of it as long as is something interesting, not babbling around.
No. Cause that's what I do. I use space-breaks, though. No giant walls of text. I get more annoyed with people who type too little; like three-word sentences or less, every single time.
Sometimes. I debate right wingers and post simple short answers. Then get back reams of text from them. I feel its like lawsuits, where a litigant is trying to hide the one damning piece of evidence and so discloses thousands with it to drown it out.
I like long detailed paragraphs as long as they get to the point and not try to beat around the bush of what they are trying to say.
There's a point where I realise it's long and make a decision whether I want to commit and dive in, or just move on.
Depends if the subject looks interesting and on what I've just been doing.
When there is one giant paragraph. It makes as much sence as alphabet soup.
Yeah would prefer long paragraphs rather than texting im bits and pieces. Its shows poor writing skills lol
Some times but better than someone who texts one or two word answers
people who text long paragraphs at the wrong time...
Nothing wrong with that at all. If you have something deep and meaningful to say, say it.
It depends what they're saying. Some responses require long paragraphs.
No.
I tend to usually write long ones.
no, I get annoyed with one syllable answers
As long as it's all relevant, no issues.
I find short, cryptic messages more annoying.
Depends what mood I'm in
Nope
