The covid bacteria dies?

It seems that the covid bacteria is about to be gone bye-bye. Less and less restrictions and you never hear anyone being sick anymore. Is it gone?

Covid is not a bacteria though, it's a virus. Those two things are quite different. Viruses are not living organisms, bacteria are. Bacteria are living organisms that consist of single cell that can generate energy, make its own food, move, and reproduce itself.

On the other hand, viruses only grow and reproduce inside of the host cells they infect. When found outside of these living cells, viruses are dormant. Their existence therefore requires the hijacking of the biochemical activities of a living cell.

In conclusion, no, it won't disappear - it will simply become endemic.

It's not a bacteria; it's a virus. And no, it's not "about to be gone"; it can infect literally ANY mammal- it will NEVER be gone, at least until the sun dies and takes the Earth with it. The media coverage is over, largely because even the most fearmongering of them can't make most people believe it's serious threat any more.

I know a lot of people that have it right now personally and my sister who works in an ER is saying a majority of people that are coming in right now are testing positive. The good news…a lot of them didn’t even come in for COVID reasons. More like migraines, stomach issues, etc.
