Men will rise to the standards set by women. Free love won’t be as free anymore, and women will have to be more selective in who they have sex with. Men will have to suck it up and use condoms. None of this applies if you live in a blue state since nothing has actually changed there.
1. Abortion isn't banned. Overturning Roe v Wade only gave the power to make those laws back to the states because it was NEVER in the constitution so the federal government can't legally give people that right.
2. EVERYONE should be more responsible and stop doing hook ups. only have sex with someone you actually love and want to be with long term.
I think everyone should be more responsible. Roe being overturned or not! If you plan to have sex, and you don’t want to get pregnant (don’t want to get her pregnant), or an STD, make sure that you have protection. Obviously, this statement isn’t meant to address being raped. That’s an entirely different discussion.
If I lived in the U. S., besides my her disgust are now women's right's are being stomped on, it would not change a thing in my life: I don't pull down my pants in front of a woman of I don't intend to share my life with her, and unless I intend to have a child, I always use condoms. The problem is for all those who don't share my personal views and circumstances. Those have been screwed a lot.
Everyone should've been responsible in the first place, but yes.
If I found out that a woman I was with got pregnant, I'd probably propose to her either on the spot or within a day. I do not date without the intent of finding someone to marry.
I think the responsibility that men have is that every, single, time they have sex, is that getting their partner pregnant is always, ALWAYS, a risk when having sex. And they can't complain even when condoms break. However, women have practically the same responsibility. They know that pregnancy is always a risk when having sex. The best way to keep that risk in check, is to not have sex. Not to say it's any of my business, but I don't have much sympathy for men OR women who had consentual sex and not taking responsibility for it.
Not more than they should have been with Roe v Wade in place. For me being man means to only take the responsibilities you can handle and procreate is such.
I´m infertile so I couldn´t get a woman pregnant anyways but besides that I try to prove women that they can have regular contact with guys without talking about or aiming for sex.
Both parties should be more responsible, but it will ultimately fall onto the woman because it's her body so women should absolutely be taking the utmost care.
That being said, overturning Roe vs Wade is fucking stupid. No one WANTS abortions, but sometimes it's better than bringing a child into the world where they can't be properly supported.
Some men should have been behaving more responsibly long before the overturning of Roe v Wade. Preventing pregnancy is actually really easy, for both parties. I can’t get a woman pregnant now anyway. Even when i could, i never had unprotected sex with a woman i wouldn’t be willing to raise a kid with. For the most part, it really is that easy.
I don't know why parents of sons would feel a need to do anything different now. Kamala Harris' comment makes it sound like this will change men's choices, but men have no more or less choice now than they did before. As a parent of a boy I would do nothing different than I would have before. But as a parent of a daughter I sure would.
But why is that conversation any different now than before? They should always have been utilizing their choices because the stakes have always been high for men.
In cases where women would have otherwise aborted, they’ll be demanding more active support from the father of the baby. And if they’re smart, they’ll make sure men are helping with birth control.
Men have always had to make their decisions based on the assumption the mother would not abort. Again, no real change here. Men will still be held legally accountable for the choices they make, as they have always been.
The real change here is for women because they no longer have an exit door, at least in some states. Women now face the same reality men have always faced in terms of being forced to become a parent when they are not ready to be one.
But you're right about your second statement. Women should absolutely be starter about the men they have sex with and whether they are good, responsible men. That includes being responsible about birth control and being a good father and partner. That should always have been a requirement, but it's an even more important one now because the stakes are higher.
Legally, there might not be many changes for men. But socially, women are going to be needier. And men will have to step up, as demanded by women. And if the women are smart, they’ll demand life long loyalty to her and their family as lifelong loyalty is now being pushed on to women towards their children.
You can demand all you want, but it won't change anything relative to what we have had for many years because the stakes have not changed for men in any meaningful way. I understand your desire as a woman to try to force men to behave differently, but it's not going to happen because things are essentially no different for men now than they were before, legally or pragmatically.
What should change is women should be choosier about who they procreate with. That's what it really comes down to. And yes, women should demand lifelong loyalty from a man who they choose as the father of their children, and they need to take that choice much more seriously than they have in the past. As I said, the stakes are higher now.
Please know that I fully support abortion rights and always have, and I also fully encourage men to be responsible in all of this. But the reality is nothing is going to change in men's behavior based on the overturn of R v W. Unfortunately, this falls on women.
Yes, women should be choosier. However, at the current state, an outstanding majority of men aren’t qualified. So, men will have to shape up or die as an incel.
If you're referring to men's ability to provide, it's obviously an exaggeration considering men still out-earn women by a wide margin.
If you're referring to men being good partners who are worthy of a lifelong female partner and children, then it's a self-correcting problem from a male perspective.
The agent of change here will be women and their own sexual behavior. Otherwise nothing will change.
The price for pussy will go up... well, it's an uncommon way for a woman to frame it, and I'm glad it was you who said it and not me, but I hope you're right because it's the only way out of this mess. It's up to you ladies to make pussy valuable again. The market has been flooded for too long.
Men have no reason to "shape up". They'll continue getting everything they have been getting for decades, until something changes that will actually influence their behavior. That change hasn't happened yet. As far as I can tell, pussy is still cheap.
So what is going to change that? Do you think Harris standing on her soapbox telling men they need to change is going to have any positive effect? Nah, if anything it will do the opposite.
So what will make a difference? Women's behavior will. They are the ones who need to change if things are going to improve. If Harris actually wants to see positive change rather than just spouting rhetoric, she is preaching to the wrong audience.
I help women get rid of riffraff and get men who respect, honor and stay loyal to her by choice. Men who are “getting everything they have been for decades” are disqualified. That’s our responsibility. If men want to continue their lineage, they’ll either become the men the standard or get left out.
I feel like we've just been conditioned to think that it's hotter when a guy cums in you because of porn cus it's always like "bareback cream pie" and stuff like that but I don't see how it would be any different during the actual sex
Its kind of like the chicken in the egg lol which one came first? I would argue porn took what we like and put it on video for us so art was inspired by life! Porn wasn't made by aliens to brainwash us or anything lmfao 😂 porn was made and invented by humans lol
Seeing as how girls have way more options... Men have a rubber, the male BC pill, abstinence or pulling out before the big blast. Women have that and the female condom, the sponge, a diaphragm, an IUD, the morning after pill, the choice of what time of the month they fuck, spermicide cream/jelly, and who knows how many other options. A couple I know using ALL of those STILL got pregnant and when the kid came out, it was wearing armour!
We get ZERO parental rights, when we get 50% of the say and aren’t forced to pay for children we opt out of having... then we will do more to protect YOU from getting YOURSELF pregnant.
When paternity fraud is taken seriously and women are jailed for it, we will do more.
When women start taking responsibility for THEIR actions and choices and stop blaming men, we will do more.
Bottom line is abortion will be far less accessible in most places than previously. Time to step out of idealism and into reality. If you don’t want 18 years of child support and an unwanted child, you know what to do.
I’m not saying there is no validity to your points. I’m saying gotta except the situation and act accordingly.
This is part of why I help women choose the right men for long term relationships. Paternity fraud wouldn’t be necessary if they’re with the right man.
I mean it’s not a requirement, but I understand the urge for more experience than one man. I know many women whose curiosity got the best of them. Better to get it out early rather than 10 years into a marriage.
Why is it the men in particular should be taking preventative measures? I don't mean to be rude but that seems like an odd perspective. It takes two to tango, so wouldn't preventative measures be something both participants should ensure? Why is that duty relegated to they guy?

The topic isn’t excluding women, it’s doing better at including men more. Preventative responsibilities have primarily fallen on women, and so has the topic of abortion. With those things at stake, this impacts men as well as women.
I'm not really interested in having this discussion but firstly, men are not a separate race from women. And secondly, there are plenty of men who do not fall under your perception of men. And while many women depend on a man, there are plenty of women who are very capable. I'm also of the opinion that just because many women do depend on men, doesn't mean they couldn't if their life depended on it.
Yes which means if they continue to pull that crap during sex where they pretend to put a condom on or slip it off during sex to raw dog it. Then they should be in jail for rape. The group of men that do this is appalling.
You don't seem all that glad to die on that hill here. You don't even seem to believe it enough to make a descent or even rational argument. You are shitting all over your mote and burning your bailey, it's kinda depressing how you cluelesslly try to co-opt our principles, while defiling them at every turn.
Here's a secret for you, our principles aren't magic words from which we can extract which ever conclusion we want, they are our masters and one dishonor them at their own peril.

Honey, if you understood the weight of self sacrifice we wouldn't be having this conversation. You would, as I do, just use protection and give up the raw dog creampies instead of crying for the world to provide for you. When you understand the weight of self-sacrifice, you understand the world doesn't exist for you and that it doesn't nor should it care. Only when you understand that you are responsible for your fate, and even if you do your best you can still die horribly, but you are still comfortable with that... only then you can handle sacrificing yourself.
Yeah, that message is a given considering women will have less access to legal abortion. No one said it wasn’t. However, don’t think for a second we’re not going to raise standards of male behavior, as a result. Because we absolutely should.
The standards for being a good husband and father need to increase. Inner work (communication skills, listening, cooperative, empathy, emotional regulation etc), shared household responsibilities and shared child care duties.
MzAsh... A mans higher standard as you imply are already there in place. Most women don't have any consistent high standard that reaches the altitude of most men. It is'nt where have all the good men gone , it's where are any good women that comply to the set standards of most men. But if you agree to disagree which you may , that doesn't change the truth... you might hope that it changes the narrative so that a truth of your like becomes in the presence instead. Anyway , good try tho.
Women set a standard for men to comply with first, THEN women reciprocate. The stakes are high if she’s carrying your baby. The LEAST he could do is get his hands dirty in some diapers and have her a nice home cooked meal and a clean home when she’s too fatigued to do it. there's evidence that women aren’t getting the household and child care support they need from men.
Is that why some women deny their ex-husbands access to their kids while still taking their money? Because they want to hold them to higher standards? Baby trapping?
Because it sounds to me that you want to shift responsibility for your actions onto men
How so? I don’t understand women who deny their ex access to his kids, with the exception of addiction or abuse. I’d ensure they’re responsible for their own actions. There’d be equally shared parental responsibilities.
The majority of women already are using birth control. 65% More women use birth control than men who wear condoms, which only about a third of men wear them.
It’s a man’s choice to have sex too. And if the baby is to be born, they both will be equally as responsible for that baby.
It wouldn't change a thing for me. I used condoms and I always discussed what the woman would do in the event of an unintended pregnancy. If our outlooks didn't agree, then I didn't have sex.
Looking at your responses to others, MzAsh, I have to say that no force on heaven and earth can make anyone love someone, including their own offspring. The *only* thing a woman can legally do if they are not married is force him to pay child support. Nothing more. You can't legally force a man to take custody. You can't legally force him to change diapers, cook, clean, take the child to doctors appointments, go see him/her play a tooth in the school play. YOU CANNOT LEGALLY FORCE ANYONE TO GIVE A DAMN ABOUT ANYONE ELSE, and very sadly this includes their own children.
But if the man has made it abundantly clear from the start that he does not want this child, will not love this child, and won't do one atom more than what the law compels him (which is only to pay money), why on earth would you choose to sleep with that man? You can't legally compel anyone to love and care for anyone, so why would you even want such a person in the child's life? If you're so insistent on two parents raising the child who *want* that child, why not give it to a family for adoption? You want the child to be raised by a loving father? GIVE IT TO ONE. Stop barking up the wrong tree and insisting that the man who has made it abundantly clear he doesn't want the child or love the child raise that child.
The overall message with anti-choice seems to be, “women stop being hoes and start taking care of your children.” But when I apply the same attitude and expectations to men, they lose their shit and I find that very interesting. Most of the anti-abortion crusade isn’t about saving babies. It’s about controlling female behavior. It’s clear when the only time anyone seems to even care about babies is when it’s directly related to female behavior.
I do have a boomer age in-law that is pro life but it’s not something I discuss with her. I don’t necessarily think it’s her intention to control women bodies, but I understand that she’s …let’s say she’s heavily influenced, to put it nicely, by her religion.
Umm women can literally impregnate themselves with sperm from a condom, admit it, and get child support in the USA. Men already had zero choice after sex--hell, in the USA even a paternity test showing it's not your kid isn't a guarantee you won't have to pay child support.
I don't see how roe v wade being overturned changes anything.

I don't sleep with western women. so this doesn't apply to me.
But if did. Take the 400 dollars fly to Mexico or liberal state get it done keep the change. IDC.
Situation for men never changed. If she wanted to keep it I had no choice. If she wanted to get rid of it I had no choice.

The stakes are getting higher for everyone, including men the more they challenge access to abortion or birth control.
Ho so for men?
PS - I agree on birth control, but I don't see that as a valid threat.
In cases where women would have otherwise aborted, they’ll be demanding more active support from the father of the baby. And if they’re smart, they’ll make sure men are helping with birth control.

Qualified in what respect?
If you're referring to men's ability to provide, it's obviously an exaggeration considering men still out-earn women by a wide margin.
If you're referring to men being good partners who are worthy of a lifelong female partner and children, then it's a self-correcting problem from a male perspective.

Everything you mentioned and much more. The price for pussy will go up in every way, IF women are vetting properly.
The price for pussy will go up... well, it's an uncommon way for a woman to frame it, and I'm glad it was you who said it and not me, but I hope you're right because it's the only way out of this mess. It's up to you ladies to make pussy valuable again. The market has been flooded for too long.

There is no necessity in scamming men. Regardless of the females poor choices.
Scamming men for your own greed should require jailtime.
@MzAsh
I don’t think it’s ever NECESSARY.
You are right though, Letting a looser knock you up is part of the problem. Stop reproducing with the unqualified and irresponsible.
I mean it’s not a requirement, but I understand the urge for more experience than one man. I know many women whose curiosity got the best of them. Better to get it out early rather than 10 years into a marriage.
Sure. I think it’s true and not irrational of both sexes to want to experience more than one person.
Why is it the men in particular should be taking preventative measures? I don't mean to be rude but that seems like an odd perspective. It takes two to tango, so wouldn't preventative measures be something both participants should ensure? Why is that duty relegated to they guy?

Oh here we go again. Its mens responsibility to make sure women dont get pregnant.
How about you women take some responsibility for once? Maybe you should think about the potential consequences of having sex before you open up.

Yeah, that message is a given considering women will have less access to legal abortion. No one said it wasn’t. However, don’t think for a second we’re not going to raise standards of male behavior, as a result. Because we absolutely should.
Ms Ash I can't wait for that to actually take place. Wished that would catch on with ALL females. Imagine that.
It has to be on their own terms. Not the terms of man or law.
Untrue. GODS law through commanded commandments. Women are not above or have authority to command men to do anything period. U know this.
We’ll have to agree to disagree on that one.
What higher standards? I keep hearing about the rising number of men who dont have sex.
Now you going just demonic as witchcraft. And for that you are definitely an enemy of my spirit. Your full of BS.
I am the wickedest of the witches. Don’t forget it.
Lmfao...
😁😁
Is that why some women deny their ex-husbands access to their kids while still taking their money? Because they want to hold them to higher standards?
Baby trapping?
Because it sounds to me that you want to shift responsibility for your actions onto men
How so? I don’t understand women who deny their ex access to his kids, with the exception of addiction or abuse. I’d ensure they’re responsible for their own actions. There’d be equally shared parental responsibilities.
How so?
Roe v wade gets overturned. And youd think women would start thinking of other methods to prevent pregnancies. Condoms pills, abstinence etc.
Nope. The 1st thing that happened was"how can we make men responsible for our choice to have sex".
And its not the 1st time this happened.
Remember the " i wanna go out at night without fear"?
The brilliant solution was to demonize men because a minority of them happen to be scumbags. Bash the majority for the actions of the minority.
And when i suggested carrying weapons or learning to fight, i got called a misogynist.
Take responsibility for your actions and stop pushing on others
The majority of women already are using birth control. 65% More women use birth control than men who wear condoms, which only about a third of men wear them.
It’s a man’s choice to have sex too. And if the baby is to be born, they both will be equally as responsible for that baby.
Unless she does what to many women do is abort the baby before the man can assume responsibility or have a say otherwise.
And you'll never find a truth so true from a wrong so wrong.
It wouldn't change a thing for me. I used condoms and I always discussed what the woman would do in the event of an unintended pregnancy. If our outlooks didn't agree, then I didn't have sex.
For the record I am pro-choice.
So why do so many people seem to think you ca force women to by forcing them to give birth?
The overall message with anti-choice seems to be, “women stop being hoes and start taking care of your children.” But when I apply the same attitude and expectations to men, they lose their shit and I find that very interesting. Most of the anti-abortion crusade isn’t about saving babies. It’s about controlling female behavior. It’s clear when the only time anyone seems to even care about babies is when it’s directly related to female behavior.
When you tell your pro-life friends that you feel they are trying to control women's bodies, how do they respond?
I don’t have pro-life friends.
