Taxation is the price of admission to a free society looking out for itself through infrastructure projects, services, and social safety nets for the less fortunate. Property taxes on vehicles go down as the vehicles depreciate, at least where I live. Property taxes on real estate tend to climb. Some areas rely heavily on property taxes because they don't have the commerce or sales to generate enough revenue. I think at a certain age, like 65, people should be exempted from real estate property taxes, or at least have their taxes significantly reduced.

Yes. It’s unfair that I need to pay extra for something I’ve already spent so much money on in the first place. Car taxes have to be one of the biggest scams ever.

No. Income tax should be illegal.
The US was a flourishing economy WITHOUT income taxes all the way up to 1862. It was only implemented to fund the US Civil War and later maintained to fund military expansion and interventionism. Despite the tax act being repealed ten years later, the collection of income taxes did not end. Thus, income taxes ARE technically illegal and arguably unconstitutional.

Yes. Property tax essentially means that the government, not you, owns your home. You might own your home outright, but the government can still take it from you.
Lots of elderly people who have owned their homes for years are made homeless because they can't afford to play property tax on their limited, fixed incomes. How cruel and cold blooded is that? It's theft. It's a travesty.

Yes of course I think all but sales taxes should be illegal like I this the 16th amendment of the constitution should be abolished “The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from whatever source derived, without apportionment among the several States, and without regard to any census or enumeration”

No, i think its expected to pay tax on things we buy or own. I have been fighting my tax accessor whos raising my property tax on several properties but I wouldn't say its illegal.

It goes to fund schools in the area, playgrounds, roads…all things that increase the value of my properties.

Hitler discovered really quickly how crappy Soviet infrastructure was.

The only legitimate taxation I could even fathom arguing for would be a flat sales tax. So, yes. I think it should be illegal.

Yes of course if I’m not in School and I have no kids in school why do I have to pay thousands of dollars of property tax every year on the land that I own

When you cut taxes from somewhere you have to raise taxes elsewhere because that's how money works. There is no such thing as a "tax cut".
