I think removal is a bit much.

But forcing them to take sensitivity training and mandating they learn to socialize without religion would be good.

Like how for some people they have those "how to have respectful conversation" courses, but instead of teaching men how not to always be making sexual jokes, it's teaching white Christians how to discuss sports or the weather, instead of religion.

I think it's also worth legislating the religions themselves. Mormons, for example, are almost not allowed to have normal conversation. If they're not pitching their religion like a set of Vector knives, they're practically excommunicated.

These are the people who ruin everything and generate the most social division, in my mind. Worship whatever the hell you want, but never get it twisted that YOUR god doesn’t have to MY god, or anyone else’s, and societies and governments must operate as if god doesn’t exist, so as to accommodate everyone as neutrally as possible. You can’t just set up your laws to say everyone has to Christian or Muslim or Jewish, or make it so others can’t live under their own belief systems, that’s simply preposterous. Theocracy is the worst form of government, to me.

It's fine to have your own opinions (which is all they are), but it's not okay to hate people who have different ones, but that is what you do here on GAG pretty much every day. exactly. sadly people don't realize that religion has nothing to do with god, morality, or spirituality. And that means all dogma-based control systems are religoin. Including the belief in authority of government, that money has intrinsic value, or even unquestioned scientism. None of which openly mention "god" but they still are religions.
Also it is a fact that the mental plane is that of cause, the physical plane is that of effect. Deny it or not, spiritual laws remain in motion. The problem with any religious people is that most of them don't know what they're talking about. There is however value in all of them.
