Learn from others because it’s faster than trying to generate your own ideas - and in college, they do not expect you to invent your own ideas until your a graduate or doctoral student so learn to learn from others, and remember hard work is unavoidable so volunteer to work hard before life forced you to work hard by your life. Protect your body, fixing a broken body is harder than protecting a healthy body that does not need fixing and do not date an abusive guy even if your dependent on him and do NOT reject a good guy who is less attractive than a bad guy that looks more attractive, long term happiness is determined by personality and not looks.

Wounds heal, scars fade, prison terms end, but a story is forever. The day will come when you feel you're too mature to go out and do the things that good stories result from, so now's the best time.

Just remember that a story's less fun if you're not alive to tell it, so don't get TOO nuts.

Buy whole life insurance at the price of youth.

Set aside money for buying land later.

Don't talk trash about people you don't like, there are spies everywhere.

Don't be in a rush to marry.

Don't have kids past 35.

Keep up with yearly female checkups. I've lost many relatives to uterine cancer.

Don't go into debt. You'll be a slave to a bank for the rest of your life.

Stay fit and go on adventures, kayak, hiking, bicycling... those will make for good inspirational stories for your kids.

Take diving lessons and get your PADI card.

Go on a skydiving tandem jump at least once and pay for the video.

Ask a friend to teach you how to shoot and find a weapon you can use in your house for self defense.

Remember that just because you are legally able to drink alcohol limit how much you drink. I have seen so many 21yr olds get so drunk they can’t protect themselves and might regret things they do.
