Single moms should not be allowed to raise boys. And if a person can't afford to raise a child on their own they should not have custody. If they don't like that they should've thought about it before getting knocked up without a dependable provider who thinks they're worth being with 'forever'. Lot of these women needed to take a short cut cause no sane man with resources would ever give them a ring. In comes Uncle Sam to save the day.

I worked 30 years and made sure my son had what he needed; which by the way was not another asshole to raise my son!
Oh, and he is not some weird alphabet person. He is straight and knows a lot about a lot of things. He knows about love too.

@sage2021 I never claimed all men are good role models. I mean the fact a boy can be raised the wrong way (as you yourself admit) says otherwise. If your son is a man today it's because he had a good male role model OR he re-programmed the parts of his brain you (accidentally) programmed to be feminine. He will have learned lessons in life that you did NOT teach him. That's just how it is. Back in ancient times women were not even allowed to raise a boy past age 4 or so. They knew better.

they either pay voluntarily at an amount agreed with the mother if the child is genetically his or the state mandates that the man pays support the child even when he can prove that the child is not genetically his.

Your question doesn't make sense because it's not a right. It's not a privilege. Men are forced to pay or face incarceration. You are not allowed to opt out. There are no rights.
If you're asking if this facet of society should be completely restructured that's a different question

@In_Trance even when they are forced by a court order to pay child support, some, like my ex never paid his and we were married. He just went underground and the child support people couldn't ever find him. 🤷🏼‍♀️
