Is most of Gen Z depressed?

I came across a Reddit post and I'm worried about you guys... is most of Gen Z really depressed? Please only answer if you're part of the Gen Z generation.

I'm gen z and I'm depressed.

I've deal with depression and suicide thoughts and other mental health bullshit off and on ever since I was eleven and I feel like a good chunk of my live revolves are trying to "get better" and "staying better".

I got therapy on the 15th and I'm finna start taking meds again even, although I don't really want to, I'm using at as a least resort since I really feel like I'm on my last leg.

Not gonna state the reasons why because it's personal of course, but I don't know if I was say most of Gen z are depressed.

With all the peers I had been around that are of my age, I found myself to almost be the only to really be so mentally distraught.

Then again, people are good at hiding depression, so who knows.

Sometimes you just can't tell someone is really depressed if you ask.

Yes they are, because for the most of them, the maximum in their life that they can achieve is being a OF entrepreneur or a instagram influencer. They also lost the vision of difference between internet and irl, so they have 10m followers on ig but when they are down, there is nobody to talk to or shoulder to cry on. That ends up with a suicide.

It's really sad. That's what I'm noticing in that generation too. I thought millennials were the most screwed generation, but I'm seeing gen z be even more depressed than we are/were.

I'm on the edge of both eras and I had the luck to enjoy millenial age when we played outside and life was damn good and I also tried gen z age when you basically live on your phone and laptop. I definitely prefer millenial age.

I've never been seriously depressed. I have a pretty good life, overall.
