Have you ever seen men yelling or getting manic over a sports match or getting super angry over really dumb inconveniences? An Italian male chef is allowed to get ridiculously offended over his dish if someone asks for salt, but if a woman chef did that people would think she's mentally unfit for the nature of that industry.
Yes it'd true that women are more predisposed to showing sadness and crying, but when we say emotional we have to consider the ways in which it's socially OK to show emotion via our gender.
Women's anger is quick to be written off as psycho, likewise a man who cries is written off as weak. While I don't agree with this, it's sadly an experience most of us have grown up with.
So while men are moreso illiterate in what they are 'feeling' at any given moment, women also need 'to learn' how to communicate what they need emotionally, instead of going straight to tears, which works when you're a kid but not as an adult.
