For those of you unfamiliar with the land situation of the western States:

Do you agree with the unequal federal hording of the land of the western states?

The western states were cut off from development in theses lands in 1979 before most of the western States had time to finish developing to an equal footing with the East.

This permanent crippling and relegating of large areas if not most of the western States land & resources to the whims of distant and unconcerned majorities soon led to the State bush rebellion among said states which continues among them in an off and on fashion today.

Is it fair that the people of New York get to govern 99.2% of the land within their state upon whose resources their livelihood depends but the people of Nevada are permanently relegated to only 19.9%?

If Washington D. C. wants to deny Nevada any control over 80.1% of its lands at least have the honesty of telling us that land is a Federal territory and not part of the State of Nevada. Then at least some part of the Federal Constitution would justify the vast and alien police powers the Federal government claims over that land.

As someone who grew up in one of theses western states I can tell you this control is about more than just tax dollars and development of the enormous amounts of land and resources being horded.

Its also about control of surrounding state lands as the Federal government's hand picked politicians in black robes have decided to give themselves large unfair amounts of power over surrounding lands too, which they justify on the possible effects upon their precious lands.

Then there is the issue of mismanagement of federal lands for which a great many western towns have paid the ultimate price.
