I am from Turkey and we use Turkish lira here. In 2010 , 1 dollar was 1,5 turkish lira overtime it reached 18 and predictions for end of 2023 is 25-30 lira. It went from 9 to 18 in just one night last year. Our currency is very unstable. U wake up one day , and all your money worth nothing. we have been facing an economic crisis since early 2010s. I miss good old days in 2000s. I was a kid back then and my father as a constructor was earning 15.000 -20.000 dollar per month which was very good amount of money for Turkey but nowadays his income doeant worth more than 500 dollar. If its not for our past invesments we would starve to death. And I am here as a graphical designer specialist in 3d design. I am a college graduate. I went to college for what? Just to earn 300 dollar a month.

Almost exactly one dollar, at the moment.

    1 Euro = 1,01 US-Dollar

The pound been more than dollar don't really change much though just somehow makes things here more expensive lol. For example if something here is £200 here it will be $200 in US which means if I could convert my pounds into dollars and go to america to buy that thing it would be cheaper.
Which annoys me always because it feels like America are getting stuff cheaper.
You would think $200 there would mean £170 here but nope though sometimes it does work like that. Just seems random.
Also if you were just speaking England generally then I would take it any day over america.

Yea. Honestly me and my boyfriend were talking about where we would go for our honeymoon whenever we get married and I suggested we go to Denmark but I’m told it’s very expensive because the currency there is worth cents here. So I’ve been struggling to figure out how much it would cost to stay out there for 2 weeks to a month because if I can I’ll pay for it. England is also nice tho kinda sad it’s weather is kinda intense/crazy sometimes from what I heard.

Oh I see, I get ya. Ours will be more expensive to come to that's for sure. England for a honeymoon? nah. England is more of a better place to live than visit in my opinion, and I would say the opposite to US. We do get a lot tourism for reasons, but trust me it's just better to live here than have a trip here.

Try some where with euros instead, euros are pretty much exact matches to dollars. Aka $200 would be £198. Plus a lot of European countries are beautiful to visit and less so to live in along with some been a bit of both or just like England better to live than visit.
Also our weather is fine lol it's not much different to other countries no matter how much you'll find British people make a life to complain about it.

Yea but I want to go somewhere different so yea we haven’t decided and probably won’t for a while. This is kinda un related and I don’t know if it counts as rushing it but me and him both know we want to marry each other and lately with me trying to emotionally and mentally set a boundary with my family he’s been huge support and I find myself thinking about getting married more and more often. Like we are at peace together, we are more productive around each other and overall just happier. We’ve been together for 1.5 years now. I don’t know if it’s too soon to have these thoughts tho. I’ve been wanting to spend a lot more of my down time either with him or talking to him so I’m not sure.

My personal view is waiting until 30s because then you have something to celebrate at the age when things have slowed down in life and can reignite some magic. So at 18? I wouldn't be thinking about marriage at all nor at 21 like myself now.
      But that's my personal view.
As for the to soon two approaches really, scientifically we know lust usually lasts two years some just a year, some even 3 years. Now what this lust means, it's not just sexual lust it's just overall basically you haven't left the honeymoon stage were both people feel the most rushes towards each other.
So to marry within that, is not really a good idea. That's like a honeymoon effect on top of another.
      However that's scientifically speaking.
But if we want to take luck speaking well there has been many couples who have somehow married very quickly and stayed together.
Overall there is actual reasons to wait 3 years or more that's not just made up by my views it's something that multiple studies have show. However there is always outliers so really it's just up to you.

Also just a side thought you can get engaged but don't rush the wedding keep it at certain length. But this can have positives or negatives to, such as it could help you figure out in the meantime you are ready but it could also just be the excitement of the wedding prolonging a lust effect that once.. wears off well that's when the relationship comes to it's make or break.

With that all been said there is no wrong choice do what you feel like. It's all hoping it will work out either way there are no certainty's.

Yea we wouldn’t get married until after he’s done with college and stuff which will be 5 years from now but we have talked about engagement, marriage and our future. Me and him aren’t in the honeymoon phase surprisingly or at least I’m not. We’ve argued a lot the past like 3-6 months over family decisions, mental+emotional health. We’ve almost broke up twice now because those arguments get bad. No matter what though being with each other has always calmed us down or resolved an issue a lot sooner than it would have if we weren’t. I’ve been uncertain a lot but recently it’s been different I’m at peace a lot more than I’ve ever been and I’m not anxious when I’m around him. My boyfriend has been emotional ever since we started dating. In fact after 6 months he started saying he can’t wait to propose, get married and start a family together. He’s very honest about his emotions whether they are innocent or not. His lust is in many forms for sure as he melts, gets protective and calms down when I’m around. I’ve had to stop him from almost starting a fight because a guy insulted him and at 2 points insulted me. This includes to his family or my own family.
