The complaint alleges that Donald Trump falsely inflated his net worth by billions of dollars to unjustly enrich himself, and to cheat the system by helping him to falsely obtain loans.
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yCan we at least all agree that this experiment of handing the world’s most powerful office to a dumb TV host and shady career criminal with no government knowledge, 6 bankruptcies, 68 charges of sexual assault, 7,300 lawsuits and $1,000,000,000 in debt did not go well at all?

We had an awesome economy with no inflation and gas less than $2 a gallon. Give me all the TV hosts you can. Better than the dumb ass in office now with $4 gas, and 15% inflation. Also I am tired of DOW losing 500 to 1000 points a day. Before Biden leaves Dow might be 5000 points
Opinion Owner+1 y@888theGreat Unlike Donald Trump, President Biden has never been under criminal investigation. Nor has he ever been sued for making hundreds of false financial statements.
- +1 y
You don't get investigated because the FBI hides the evidence. He is the big guy and he got illegal money and this is on Hunter's computer. the FBI just hid it. He will be investigated soon like January 5th of 2023 by Republicans in House and if Republicans get Senate , he is going to be impeached.

+1 yyes. why didn't they do this when he lived in ny, why now?
accusation does not mean guilty. It's responsibility of those lending money to validate the value of his assets. If they didn't like his profile, they shouldn't have loaned money. But as well, lying is fraud... when one has assets like his, not easy to estimate value
14 Reply- +1 y
“…when one has assets like his, not easy to estimate value” Maybe. But its not difficult to understand that you can’t change the value depending on the situation. One value for loans and a different one for taxes is absolutely fraud.
Difficulty estimating values has no bearing on the discrepancies between the loan values and tax values.
That being said, I don’t think this particular lawsuit will result in much. - +1 y
Thank you. My tax value and market value of house is different. I don't know the details of what they are claiming, but it sounds ridiculous. Those whom loan billions have very smart people to asses value, it's what they do for a living! They want to know if they are covering their loan with assets, they trust their smart people... not what the other person says. I suspect just estimating the value of his art work is an exercise in BS. If they don't trust him, they shouldn't have made the loan. There's accountants and lawyers looking over all this stuff. If they are stupid, that's their problem. Does not sound easy to prosecute and sounds political. How long ago was this loan and why relevant now?
Failure to get him for this, just makes things worse, they better get a conviction... - +1 y
@lightbulb27
Really? The different between your market value and tax value sits between $75 million and $750 million? A simple discrepancy perhaps?
Banks rely on things like financial statements to determine the value of a company. Who do you suppose authors those statements? According to Michael Cohen, he had two sets of books for this specific reason. I don’t know if it’s true or not, but the fraud Trump is accused of is not the rocket science you are pretending it to be.
Nobody usually checks for this stuff unless you draw attention to yourself.
Trump should have known that. - +1 y
That’s huge variation but I’ve seen corporate valuation once and can be all iver the place. If he’s keeping two books that’s another matter and illegal… fraud… if that’s what they are talking about. Wouldn’t shock me if there was problems after being in business so long. They don’t call them “Bull markets” for nothing… get that? The companies books are full of bs at some point and there’s a reset to reality as the distortions are exposed. That’s why we have auditors and he’s been audited to hell. As well I bet many people / businesses if audited… there would be issues. Who knows, like I said… better not be vapor lawsuit.

+1 yI'm pretty sure Trump et al did nothing different from what many other businessmen and women have done to take advantage of the system. He's just a good target now to further the political aspirations of New York's AG.

Yes. She'd better have actual evidence and not just allegations, or she is opening up the Empire State to huge liability from a maliciously filed suit. The malicious part will be easy to prove because she ran on "getting Trump."

"She'd better have actual evidence"
She has a shit ton. Why? Because Michael Cohen, Trump's former lawyer who he screwed over, unloaded everything he had. :)
Nighty-night fat boy! LOL!
18.6K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Yeah it’ll take time to bring down Trump because he was pres. But he can't fight this many fronts…

@OddBeMe Agreed and they have to be careful because all the easily triggered right wingers see him as God. He can do no wrong and everyone else is corrupt. I'm sure they know roughly have the registered republicans refuse to believe anything unless Trump says so. Anything against him could cause more violence that they deem justified. I'm sure they want to be super careful. Even if he admits to anything they'll say he was forced.
- +1 y
@Friendlybro79 yeah…its frustrating. But you're right they need every charge in perfect order. I just hope some future pres doesn't do a nixon and pardon the prick.
- +1 y
If a Republican gets in it's a big possibility. Actually even a democrat because they might not want to find themselves in the same predicament. I think if ridiculous crimes like espionage are proven, and I mean really proven, pardons should not be allowed. It just sends a message that our leaders are above the law and no one should be

+1 yBS. Banks are required to do due diligence before loaning money. This is just the crazy left grasping at straws.
15 Reply- +1 y
She did make mention they're investigating that as well because you are absolutely correct in that the banks are required as you suggested. She didn't dive into it deeply but it sounded like there could be some issue here too. The truth will unfold. I just hope that people can indentfy that truth isn't always what you want to be true or thought to be. Sometimes the truth hurts. Trump will find out. If he's guilty... He needs to pay up being this is a civil lawsuit.
- +1 y
@Friendlybro79 "Truth" has been nailed to a cross and been given a very public death. I would not expect anyone who is right of crazy left to get fair treatment in NYC.
- +1 y
@KrakenAttackin Do you mean that if he's convicted that everyone is lying except Trump? Do you believe it's at all possible he could be guilty of anything he's been accused of? It's so convenient being a right winger. If a democrat says anything about us it's a lie. If anyone says anything against us they are bad... If I lose anything I was robbed a win... If they say I'm guilty it's a conspiracy...
The truth is you choose Trump over the truth. Say he was guilty of something. What would it take for you to acknowledge that? Even when Republicans turn on him then you call them Rinos. It's amazing the loyalty to a man who doesn't care about this country at all. - +1 y
@Friendlybro79 As Stalins head of internal security said " show me the man and I will find the crime". Look at Biden, Pelosi, Obama; all could be prosecuted and convicted for 100 things. It all comes down to political will.
- +1 y
They all should be accountable if a crime has been committed. The problem is you say they could be prosecuted for a 100 things but the big difference is you don't actually have evidence to show that. When investigating Hillarys emails the official stance is they didn't find anything to put her in prison. Hunter same thing.. as of yet since they are still looking into it.
Trump flaunts his illegalities as a sense of entitlement. His stupid mouth hurts him and he is being prosecuted because there's actual evidence to prosecute on. Whether he'll be found guilty or not is another story.
I believe the right wing only sees injustices in the system when it isn't to their liking. They will say it's corrupt and deep state but then should they win the next election shouldn't that imply they can't trust those results either? The playing all sides of an argument is getting stale..
Regarding the truth my real point is to ask a question that I'd be interested in your answer. Instead of deflecting it on another point do you see a possibility that Trump could be guilty of anything ever past present or future? Or do you think he's incapable of being guilty of anything illegal? Second part is where would the evidence need to come from for you to accept a guilty verdict?
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yI love how the left can't even assassinate him because they all scared of guns these days

I predict his 7-foot son Barron will do it for America. He will snap daddy in half for cheating on mommy. :)
Opinion Owner+1 yNot beyond the democrats power and would probably prevent the civil war caused by a more conventional takedown
- +1 y
Right. So if Trump gets called home to Satan in a non-Barron way, will you grab your gun, take to the streets and risk your life defending the fat clown's memory?
