I'm a military vetrean that's still capable of serving. In an emergency I will be drafted first before the latest crop of 18-22 year olds just like what happened in Korea. Most won't have to hide in Canada or Mexico as we have very few of military age that aren't obese. I would say in a pinch the US army in manpower shortage situation with an unwilling fat core population will take a leaf out of the old Roman Empire and recruit foreigners to make up the difference with offer of training, good money and Citizenship. The US military already does this to degree with mercenary groups, we all know about former US military personnel making huge sums as military contractors but what isn't spoken about is the mercanaries the US government employees from South America and Africa for much less money but with reasonable military training. You might be able to put 20 south American troops on the ground as a security force for every 1 US soldier or marine as a security element or 50-100 Africans for every one US soldier or Marine depending on their training.

Honestly the most helpful thing that the feminist movement could do for one right now would be to lobby to have the public school day and the generally understood workday and at the same time. But you know very well that the big teacher unions would probably put ahead out on anyone who had a reasonably successful chance of accomplishing that. I remember when they were making something like 13 credible death threats against governor Scott Walker in Wisconsin a day according to the Wisconsin state police who were protecting him because he was going to make them pay a 5% increase in their health insurance premiums.

You know what, cool. I served with a bunch of real soup sandwiches who are probably about midcareer by now. I have friends who are retired law-enforcement and retired corrections, so I could be in either academy with one phone call. But I am student teaching right now and I am almost done with that state certification, which is the route I ultimately want to go. It’s kind a like prison, but you get to give them back at the end of the day😆
