A lot of the people who come to the county ON A VISA THE LEGAL WAY are really really smart people. I agree we need as many immigrants as we can attract THROUGH THE VISA PROCESS.

What we don't need is a bunch of peasants that don't speak English and can't really do anymore much who have 5 kids and a 6th on the way and will end up draining the Hud, snap, medicaid etc while working under the table or on a fake ssc to send money to Mexico or El Salvador

America has always been pro immigration. living in this country is a big deal and we could be getting the cream of the crop people from all over the world, Doctors, engineers, scientists and other highly skilled people who could come here and work and pay taxes and build this country into something really great. Instead Biden has opened the southern border to the dregs of society. People who are unskilled and uneducated are streaming into America by the million. Each costing between 35 and 50 thousand dollars a year per person. They require food, housing , healthcare and many other benefits , some benefits are not available to American citizens. It is insanity.

People who enter on visas through the immigration process is fine. They generally improve society and they almost never end up on welfare. It's the thousands of peasants with kids who speak little to no English and don't have any skills that's the problem. Seriously go look at Visa options. There are a lot of different ones. Aside from k-visas which require marriage to a US citizen you only see student and then SKILLED ones where you have to have a skill like engineering. Lots if Asians are either bright in medical or computer

A lot of American companies actively recruit those people because they cost less. It drives wages down.

On top of that, most of those advanced degrees are wasted because they are rarely needed for the work. People in some countries are fanatics about "book learning" but it's pretty meaningless out in the job market.

You seem to think that an increase in the percent of immigrants in STEM who have advanced degrees has some kind of much broader implication. That's not the case. Immigrants in STEM are a minority of immigrants. Immigrants with advanced degrees are an even smaller minority. You want to make a general statement about immigrants based on a small minority who are not in any way representative.

That's all irrelevant though. Too many people is too many people. You might not remember when the US population was half what it is today, but I do. You might want to see the country continue to be raped, but I don't. You might prefer parking lots, malls and ugly concrete buildings over forests, but I don't. You might not care if your vote has half the weight it did when I started voting, but I do. You apparently like bulldozers clearing everything in site to make room for immigrants, but I don't.

You should look at what other countries do. You ought to be a little more curious why none of them import anywhere near as many STEM workers as we do and why the overwhelming majority don't import them at all. Either we are not educating our own people in STEM, which everyone else does with theirs, or we're displacing them by importing foreigners.
