Why do most people work?

Obviously, most people work partly for the money, but is that the only motivation?
Do most people feel a responsibility to contribute to society?

The only possible options I see, are:

• contribute to society/ community

• share their talents to be *recognized,* if not contributing them, with purpose, to serve in any way

• and like you said, money- for wants and basic necessities.

who all work for the fun of it/ passing of time/ brain stimulation/ company from peers

Some do it for the money to get their bills paid.

I'm sure that isn't the only motivation otherwise people would only look at pay.

I definitely work for the money and for the experience. You get to meet all sorts of people.
