+1 yMan is not created equal, sure with hard work you can achieve great things but not everything is possible. It's like why is one guy good looking, popular, has naturally good social skills, strong, athletic, gets all the hot girls and the other guy is short, skinny, ugly, a sissy, socially awkward, dork etc. You're born superior or you're born inferior. Some people will be good at some things or naturally be good at things while others it would take a lot of hard work to be good at certain things. Extroverts will naturally develop better social skills than introverts for example. Everyone has different strengths and weakness, some things that might be hard for some might be a breeze to others.

+1 yI think some are superior to others in certain ways e. g. one person can know more about a certain topic than another person can, therefore their knowledge is superior or one can just be better at someone else at a certain task.
In terms of just being superior in general yeah, like if you compare a normal good person to a serial killer or terrorist, then I think it's fair to say the latter two are inferior to the good person.

+1 yYes but the problem is human beings do not know enough to detect who is superior and who is inferior so we should give people the benefit of the doubt unless they are violent and dangerous.

Have you been to high school? Lots of examples there to detect who's naturally superior and who's naturally inferior.

@RonStone45 I don't mean superior in terms of intelligence or beauty but character and history and hard work ethic and secret acts of charity
- +1 y
Oh yes those can be different things people can be better at than other people.
Some people will by nature be more hard working and ambitious than others, I count that as something that makes some superior to others. People who have a high self esteem and are happy in life have less things holding them back and would have more motivation to work hard. Of course, there are people from poor backgrounds that can be very hard workers too, but in average I find that some people have an edge in life if they are happy, have high self-esteem, presumably because they fit in, have friends are socially successful, have good genes etc.
Everyone will have things they are superior or inferior at but some people have an edge that help them. Of course, that ''edge'' could also have an opposite effect in making some lazy. Mainly what I mean by superior, or inferior is how people are naturally compared to others, I find high school is the best example that prove that there are people who are born with ''it'' and fit in while other are just not born with ''it'' and don't fit in.
Asker+1 yAll due respect, you of all people should know the answer is: No.
What you are attempting to say is that some people have superior conditioning, beliefs, and ways of living. However, are those ways not available to everyone?
Anyone can live that way if they choose.
My question is, are all people innately equal regardless of advantages?- +1 y
Someone who can work harder than someone else is superior to them in that regard, the ability to work hard is a talent, not everyone can work hard or work as hard as others. Does everyone have the ability to work hard? yes (unless injured or born with a deficiency in which would affect that specific thing to work for) but not everyone has the character to work hard to become the best, in some cases you need the character on top of having the genetics necessary to become the best, for example to become the boxing heavyweight champion you can't be 5 foot 2 and weight 130 as an adult.
Asker+1 y@RonStone45 You guys are not answering the actual question. I'm not asking if people can be better at certain things or not. Michael Jordan is better at many things than my mom but that doesn't make he superior to my mom.
- +1 y
Are you talking about equal under law or that all human life is equal?
If we are talking genetics, looks, intelligence, body, social skills, etc and you add them all up together, than yes, I would say some people are overall superior to others as some will be overall inferior in life.
Micheal Jordan would be superior to your mom in lots of things and your mom would be superior to Micheal Jordan in other things. It's a bit weird comparing two different genders to claim if one is a superior human to another. Both are equal under the law and not one has a life that is worth more than the other in law. As for kings and queens, royalty, aristocracy, then yes, some people are born ''superior'' to others in society but not in the eyes of God.
Asker+1 y@RonStone45 No, you're not going deep enough. The truth never changes. It doesn't come with all those moving parts. One can alter social skills and I know people who have. One can alter all of the things you mentioned (which by the way is hurting your argument). But that's either here nor there because that isn't the topic. You have to go much deeper.

In school there was this good-looking dude, he had good social skills, confidence, got the hot girls, good built, athletic, tall, he fit in, was one of the popular kids in high school and then you had this short, ugly, sissy effeminate scrawny kid who was this socially awkward dork that no one liked. Tell me how the first guy wasn't naturally superior to him by just being born superior?
Also at my school there was this girl that was ugly, actually had facial hair, was not all there in the head, awkward as heck and had weak knees and then you had a girl that looked smoking hot, had intelligence, great personality, had plenty of friends, was athletic and had a good body etc. How is that not proof enough that some people are just simply born superior to others, and some are just born inferior to others? - +1 y
Aren’t you Christian or something? Can’t believe you said yes
- +1 y
@PainusNdeeAnus Just because everyone is equal under law or that everyone's life is worth the same or one's life is not worth more than the other does not mean that some people can't be superior to others on earth, which is reality.
- +1 y
@RonStone45 in what way are they superior?

Answer me that, some people just have better genetics, bodies, intelligence, etc you add em all up together and overall, some people are superior to others in life. Some people will have superior things to other people example a super nerd who's scrawny and ugly will prob be smarter, have superior intelligence than the good looking popular guy that has overall better genetics.

@RonStone45 our individuality is what makes us equal do you think Michael Phelps could beat Bruce lee in a fight? Hell no ! But he would destroy him in the pool
It’s like that Einstein quote: “ if you grade a fish by how well it can climb a tree it will go it’s whole life thinking it’s stupid ( inferior) “
Everything you said was just the surface if anyone is inferior it’s shallow people who don’t know themselves being attractive isn’t a talent
Have you heard the phrase “There is always someone better than you at something “ - +1 y
@PainusNdeeAnus You didn't convince me all, if one guy is 5'6 130 pounds has great fighting skills, but the other guy is 6'3 and 210 pounds and has the same level of skill who is going to win in a fight? One guy will naturally be stronger, can naturally develop muscles quicker etc. One guy is naturally superior the other if they worked the same level and had the same level of skill.
- +1 y
@PainusNdeeAnus Also notice how I did not compare a man to a woman because they are two different genders, you compared a fish to other animals which you can't really do (other animals can climb a tree). My examples were within the same species and gender.
- +1 y
@RonStone45 no don’t bring hard work into this we’re talking strictly genetics and god given talents
Michael Phelps has huge hands and feet great for swimming
Bruce lee has insane reaction time and reflexes great for fighting
You only named things that have to do with appearance and only focus on the pros not the cons taller people have a lot of genetic disorders and disabilities too like joint pain and arthritis - +1 y
@PainusNdeeAnus Ok both of them had no skill, who would win a fight naturally?
- +1 y
@RonStone45 because how is someone inferior because they can’t do what someone else can
Is Einstein inferior to Mike Tyson? - +1 y
@PainusNdeeAnus In many ways genetically yes, Einstein has superior intellect, but besides that overall, I think Mike Tyson is superior in more ways than Einstein is of Mike Tyson. Who made more money? who would win in a fight, who gets the most women? Who is better athletically etc. It would depend on what would matter to you in life whether one is superior to the other or not.
- +1 y
@RonStone45 bruce lee of course
- +1 y
@RonStone45 okay so the problem here is you’re just shallow
- +1 y
@RonStone45 and by the way I’m pretty sure Einstein could make atomic bombs he would definitely beat Tyson in a fight
- +1 y
@PainusNdeeAnus Bruce Lee is superior to others due to his talent of hard work and martial arts fight iq. But him against a heavyweight ufc champ would be ridiculous even with the heavyweight champ having much less skill, it would be no competition in a fight. If Bruce Lee had the body of a middle weight ufc fighter he would have been much stronger and superior, had he got a brain transplant or soul transfer into that body and trained with it like he did his old one (hypothetical scenario).
- +1 y
@RonStone45 do you realize that toughness and pain tolerance is genetic also if you were just betting on the bigger guy you’d lose a lot Floyd maywheather is like 5’4
- +1 y
@RonStone45 Brock lesnar is huge when he came to ufc he was getting destroyed
- +1 y
@PainusNdeeAnus He would not be able to make one or deploy one without government help and that would not be a physical fight, it would be assault with a weapon of mass destruction.
- +1 y
@PainusNdeeAnus He won championship fights against top competition and had skills in actual real wrestling. Lesnar would destroy Bruce lee in a fight sorry. Floyd would lose to a top 30 heavyweight boxer by KO, he would get bullied by power, size, reach and height. The heavyweights will naturally get stronger with a lot less training and skill than Floyd.
- +1 y
@RonStone45 you just said Brock lesnar would beat Bruce lee and an undefeated boxer would have to fight outside his weight class to lose
Smh 🤣 - +1 y
@PainusNdeeAnus yes, I don't see how you find that funny it just validates my argument.
- +1 y
@RonStone45 whatever you say man but I don’t think you should be giving anyone advice because you seem to think greatness is predetermined at birth and only certain traits are valuable
- +1 y
@PainusNdeeAnus People can achieve great things if they work hard, I'm just saying some people will be better or have it easier just because of how they were born. Great things can be achieved with hard work but you have to be realistic and know that not everything is possible with the set of cards that you were given in life.
- +1 y
@RonStone45 yes but you are judging the hand you’ve been dealt based off someone else’s which is going to make you believe yours are inferior and they aren’t some birds attack and kill their food some bob for algae in a pond because webbed feet can’t kill a fucking rabbit and razor sharp talons aren’t good for swimming
I’m just saying man you’re sounding very anti diversity it’s not the hand your dealt but how you use it and you’re also ignoring the cons of people you are calling superior there are many things they can’t do - +1 y
@RonStone45 now that I think about it birds are the best example of my argument some people think only the ones who can fly are superior but they’re not all made to fly some swim, some run, some dig , some are over 5ft tall
+1 yYes but not because of skin color or gender... some people are born with better genes than others, better intellect.

Asker+1 ySo you believe that makes them superior overall?
- +1 y
Sure, because someone who can build a nuclear bomb in their basement seems a lot more superior than someone who doesn't have that kind of knowledge because they aren't as intelligent.
- +1 y
I guess one would have to ask the question modern times or ancient times? Because I'm thinking in a post apocalyptic scenario a clan of say UFC fighters vs a clan of Bill gates and similar smart guys I'm gonna have to put my money on the trained fighters over the smart weaklings
- +1 y
What makes them better though?

Superior in what way? If you mean talent/ability-wise, yes. In some ways I am likely in the 99th percentile of the people on here. In others I am probably in the lowest 10th percentile.
If you mean intrinsically as humans, I do not believe that.00 Reply12.2K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. Blood is blood, kiddo.

Have you ever been to high school? Man is not created equal, that is reality no matter how much you hate it. Hard work can help you a lot, and you can achieve great things with it, but someone who is 5 foot 2 is not going to become the boxing heavyweight champion of the world or a professional nba player.

Ask him how he feels about Hindus. 😂 🤣 😆
Asker+1 y@RonStone45 Once again you're staying on the surface, which is why you cannot see.
When you stay on the surface of something deep, there will always be a million others with you and but a few deeper. LeBron James is not LeBron due to his height. If this was the case America would not be a country because it would have lost that war in the 1700s easily. You have to go deeper.- +1 y
