A kid, kids are annoying to deal with but good never comes easy and nor does great. Plus, there's not much good from getting a dog beside maybe work and a buddy.

I already had 3 kids. A dog is all I can handle now. Maybe even just a cat. Or a goldfish.

Having a child is a lot of work etc and so is owning a dog in many instances but I would say I may prefer to rehome an older aged dog than to have a child of my own.
