I have always been a fan of Roe Vs. Wade for men, the concept that no one has to be a parent if they do not want to.

Women never have to be a parent if they do not want to, (pre-2022) they could abort, give it up for adoption or let the father have the child... on the condition they let them sign over parental rights.

If a man wanted the child, and wants to be part of its life, then yes they should help to take care of it. If they never wanted it, never wanted to be a parent, they have no right to force the woman to get an abortion, give it up or anything else but they should be able to opt out of the child's life and everything about it.

I view, child support as taking away personal freedom and body choices, because if someone doesn't pay it, they get locked up in jail. So much for freedom to not be a parent if the penalty is to go to jail.

There is of course a lot of other penalties too, drivers license taken away, garnishments, if not self employed, loss of job, loss of housing, becoming homeless and there is a reason so many men commit suicide is due to child support and feeling like they can never get out from under it.

It is worse than the student loan problem. One does not go to jail for failing to pay student loans.

I would never want a man to have visitation rights to a child they didn't want, simply because they pay child support. I have the child's best interest in mind.

I've known and seen too many men who take the child, for visitation, when they really want nothing to do with it. They feed them, give them, take care of them but ignore them. They feel as if they are forced into it. Even though the mother says, you don't have to take them, he'll say and you don't need to take my money either. Lets agree I won't take them and you will let me give up parent rights and thus no child support.

The child is the victim here and if the mother denies visitation she can lose custody and the courts often will try to make up for missed visitation.

It gets worse, here. If a man and women is married, and she cheats... the man is automatically put on the birth certificate as the father, even if it isn't his.

So he finds out she cheated, divorces her and now has to pay child support for a kid that isn't even his. I know someone right now, a man in his 40's that didn't find out his kid wasn't his until the child was 5, divorced her and he had to pay child support until the child was 18. He spent 30k or so trying to get it all paid back and won but the mother hasn't and won't pay a dime and filed bankruptcy on it. She can do that, but men cannot file bankruptcy on back child support.

The state here says there are several hundred known cases a year, that it does... but the law is the law. Hence why I support a DNA test for newborns to make sure the father is the father, only cheaters would be against that, to prevent that travesty.

I don't believe the state should step up and take over if the father opts out of the child's life. It is not the tax payers job to be daddy for people who choose to have children.

I'm not a feminist, I'm a equalist. Not sure why so many women think child support has nothing to do with being a parent... they have a disconnect about it.

Abortion isn't as easy as men assume and if a woman can't or won't abort during the gestation phase doesn't mean the man is let off the hook for impregnating her.
A woman can only get pregnant if a man releases sperm in her so that is 100% on him.
There's the argument that a man can only have the chance to release sperm if a woman has sex with him and theb"close your legs " is also a valid approach

The man should not take care of any child he does not want.

Abortion should be illegal in all cases.

These issues should not be based on what is best for the individual but on what is best for society, if abortion is outlawed, the birth rate rises, and female sexuality is controlled.

While mothers are allowed to kill their children and fathers to abandon them, motherhood is discouraged and female sexuality is out of control.

In most states, they HAVE to, no matter if it's legal or not.

Most men, that are the biological father, are SUPPOSED to pay child support, and in many cases, if that's not the case, the woman can SUE him for it

It is mostly the woman's choice if they want to keep the baby or not, and if the men doesn't want it I think they should pay, yes. If you don't want to have kids use condoms.

Yes, I believe both should be responsible for supporting the child and just because we have one sin available doesn’t mean we should add another. It’s not the child’s fault abortion is legal.
