I’ve been there quite a few times, and I enjoy it. But I haven’t been to enough other places to really say. I really liked Los Angeles, but how can anywhere with bad pizza even be considered?😂 And international cities, forget it, I’ve never been to any of them to even begin to compare them to NYC.
But I’ve been to NYC as recently as a few months ago, and it still has plenty to offer. Just depends what you’re looking for. I’m sure it can feel overwhelming to some, I guess I’m a city kid just in a bigger city when I go, it may be different for someone coming from small town life. Don’t believe the hype about it being dangerous, I’ve never felt unsafe there, and you can’t spit without hitting NYPD.
The worst I had was a pushy kid asking for money, and basically counting my pockets, so I was about to lay him out but thought better of it, lmao. Wasn’t dangerous for me, just asked me for money for food, said I didn’t have any cash but would be happy to buy him something to eat and drink with my debit card (I was at a hot dog stand). I did have a ten dollar bill in my card holder, and I was saving it to tip the housekeeping lady when I checked out of my hotel in the morning, but this dude saw it poking out and tried to call me out. Started getting irritated at that point, but I just tried to turn away from him and told him I wouldn’t be able to help him out. Not really a big deal, I have that happen in my own city.
Other than that, and the rats and roaches, lmao, I think it’s pretty cool there. There’s a lot of it that I haven’t even explored yet. But it’s a cool place to go to and just kind of see supersized peak urbanity. I love the aesthetic of a gritty urban landscape, so riding the train where it’s above ground and just going through these neighborhoods where the walls and bridges have all this amazing graffiti work on them, grimy-but-charming back sides of tenement buildings, enormous public housing tower complexes, industrial areas, scrapyards, whatever…. that’s a beautiful view in its own right to me the same way The Grand Canyon is.
Pizza game is off the charts, as a final point. Just bananas.
I haven’t even done too much in the way of theater or museums or any of that cultured stuff, haha. But just walking through the neighborhoods, it’s definitely a place with a distinct “feel” to it.
democrat run shit hole of the 20th century. Great place to start a bush fire and nuke the whole city. God that would be a great day to see NYC a democrat run city being cleaned by a nuclear weapon.

No. That would be London.
Love the Islamic culture in London
It definitely needs Batman
And Spider-Man for that matter. What is really needs is Mr. Smith and the Gang.
