Humans have Being which means we possess Soul or Intellect some would say, Mind, and Body. No other created entity has Being. We are far beyond and above the Animal and any other thing including the earth itself.
We are made Imago Dei in the Image of God but fallen and sinful unlike God. Surely you can look around your world Putin, school shootings, abortions etc and see man can not improve himself.

Man is led by spirit as there is an overriding Agent that feeds the Mind which is a Central Process Unit. The Soul also oversees the behavior and where conscience, right/wrong, and free will originate. Our Emotions are from our Soul and not our mind.

Unless I'm mistaken, I'm pretty sure ray-finned fish are a monophyletic group -- all descended from the same ancestor and related. They're named after a trait they share in common, but if one were to lose that trait, their classification wouldn't change, just like how snakes and whales are still tetrapods in spite of not having four legs.

It’s an evolutionary trait. Like fingers. I’m not a biologists but I found the wiki article quite informational with lots of good citations. They even show the many different “kinds” of fish that are ray finned. Like swordfish to salmon.
