Well, every political organization ever created has collapsed at SOME point, so...

For the foreseeable future, though, I don't think it'll disappear, just become less significant, and more of a loose grouping than the economic and political alliance that so many seem to inexplicably want. I mean, you HAD a "united states of Europe"; it was called "the Roman Empire". Most of you couldn't wait to get OUT.

Also, if you DO insist on trying to do so by force again... pick a different name. The USA has a nasty track record for doing unpleasant things to countries that try to steal our name.

Of course; nothing lasts forever. I will give it more than a century though, the EU is still in its infancy. As long as enough countries benefit from the Union it will continue, unless it is overrun from outside.

If you think the EU isn't a huge benefit to member countries come and visit Brexit Britain.

The fact Europe has such a wide range of political views is why we need the eu. Collectively they balance each other out and keep everyone in check while still allowing political diversity.
