They are rolling tanks and military personnel near the cities and are actively arresting and beating protestors and Journalists.

I'm very impressed by the courage of the Chinese; mass movements all over the country of people who KNOW what will happen to them if and when the crackdowns come. If things hit critical mass, the government might have to do something more than forcibly "disappear" all the protesters.

And I'm even more embarrassed over the leaders of our governments over here, who voice empty platitudes about "supporting" the protesters, while often continuing their OWN ludicrous (if less onerous) Covid restrictions. I'm approaching the point where I'll start advocating Trudeau be removed from power for violating the Monroe doctrine.
