I mean it really depends because murder is murder and all in the eyes of the law but people have different opinions when it comes to people who deserve it. I personally don't mind the killing of Nazis, less so if it was just normal soldiers in the German army or citizens but if they were actively upholding concentration camps then...

That's the thing about wars. The victors get to excuse their war crimes, and prosecute the losers for theirs.

The USA and Brits committed atrocities as bad as the Nazi's in Vietnam and elsewhere. The Nazi's just got theirs documented better, was all.

That's another lesson you can learn from the West. Don't let your atrocities be well documented - it'll bite you on the ass later.

Many soldiers and citizens in the nazi era were to scared what would happen to their families if they didn't.

Many of them had hard decisions of follow my orders or i will kill you and your entire family.
Punishing people for crimes is one thing, but going out and just torturing them to selfishly make you feel better is exactly why hitler did what he did.
So you are basically saying if you were in his postion, you would act just like him.
But instead of to people who had a jewish religion. It would people you hate.
