At any given point in life, many people may find the lives of people older than them to be set or sorted as compared to theirs. Do you feel like this?

Nope. Everyone is different. Everyone interprets their lives and experiences differently. Sure, it would be EASY, if everyone interpreted their lives in the same way, but even individual experiences, good or bad, are different. My ex was 8 and a half years older than me, but he was A LOT more immature and careless because he was invovled with drugs and had some mental psychosises. We met when I was 32 and he was 40. However, it was rough because I resented the fact that he had already had a child before, and was married before. I wanted his firsts of ALL those special things to come from me! Anyway, yeah, also, if an older person was more spoiled and sheltered, they'll have less "STREET" experience or "school of hard knocks" type of situation, and they will more likely not understand where a young person (who's had experience with that particular subject/situation) was coming from. So yeah, in all, I feel that, it's not just experience that can define a person's life, but also how someone INTERPRETS that information. Weirdly, I've seen criminals in jail live till like their 70's/80's, the tough ones including murderers and gang members who've done something horrible. I've also seen young people commit suicide by drug overdoses because they couldn't take school pressure or being bullied! It's not age, but how their BRAIN'S are wired. How STRONG they are when dealing with life's fuck ups, their SUPPORT SYSTEM, and many other things, aside from age!.. How resourceful they are, how smart, etc. etc!

Sorry, I hope it wasn't too long of a post, haha. And I wasn't mad, just expressing my points passionately.

I don't feel that way but I can imagine why someone would feel like that. However, comparing your life and your experiences to someone else is never a good idea. Your life will never be the same as other people's.

I used to. Now I’m the one with the set and sorted life. As people get older in most cases they get wiser. That leads to better habits and decisions, which in turn typically leads to greater stability and security.
