Notice I said "government". It's absolutely fine for a private company to censor speech on their platforms, save for when it's the government pushing them to do it, that is when it violates the constitution. The government has zero rights to censor, or push others to censor speech.

But what happens when said corporation metaphorically gets into bed with government, specifically one party of said government, in exchange for favors, such as no antitrust enforcement against their effective monopoly? That's NOT a free market anymore, not by a long shot.

Furthermore government or more precisely its general prosecutor is obliged to prosecute any unlawful actions of corporations. However in reality we all are living in Banana Republics, because no western government dares to prosecute social media for breaking laws with its arbitrary censorship.
