I would not only execute, I would place a $1,000 to $5,000 reward, dead or alive. or if reported and caught, on anyone that can be proven to be a poacher. And, every time someone gets a reward, heavily advertise it. Something they could do with a video from a cell phone. Even $1,000 would be a huge amount to a native boy in Africa and when they know of a poacher, they can shoot him or report it. Games wardens can be hired but they can't be everywhere but native boys are. Most poachers are members of a tribe so no one talks, but they would for enough money.

The vast majority of hunters hunt for food. I have no problem at all with that. Trophy hunting is another story. Poaching endangered species is the worst.

I'd like to say that poachers of endangered species should be dealt with harshly. But that won't stop it as long as there is financial incentive for people who are very poor, which is often the case. I say go after the buyers and smugglers. It will have to be taken seriously, and will require international cooperation.

I'm not opposed to deer hunting in the US. Beef, venison, I don't see the difference. Trophy hunting is disgusting.

poachers make them work 20 hours a week at a shelter for animals for the rest of their life take all their guns away. as far as hunters they become part of population control. unless people stop building homes in the animal's habitat
