Do you think it's fair to Floridians that DeSantis will run for President and they will lose their great Governor?

Just when Florida is one of the best states to live in, if not the best state, DeSantis will run for president in 2024 which is next year. So, I guess Floridians will have to elect a new governor.
Wouldn't DeSantis have to start his presidential campaign while he is still governor?

Fair? Sure- he can run, same as anyone else who's eligible. Do I want him to run? Hell no- I wound up in this state in no small portion BECAUSE of his resistance to the insanity around him; watching those protections disappear to sate his ego isn't exactly appealing.

The day-to-day life a citizen is MUCH more affected by their governor than the President.

Everyone in Florida and the rest of the country is expecting him to run for president. They reelected him for governor so they can keep their state in good condition for as long as possible. Will their next governor be nearly as good? We don't know. But it is fair because he's not hiding the idea that he is planning to run for president. He never said "No" on whether he will run.

He wouldn't win, but that civil war would destroy lots of conservative infrastructure, which is why the media keeps working do hard to manufacture said nothing burger.
