For anyone reading this that doesn't know, she is a Massachusetts mom that strangled her two kids with exercise bands and then she jumped out a window which resulted in her being paralyzed from the waist down.
The defense is saying postpartum depression was the cause and therefore it wasn't murder
What say you?
Also the husband has forgiven her. Could you forgive your wife for that?

This is a very complicated case. She was a respected nurse for many years and everyone around her said she was a good mother so it seems to me that something happened to her. She spent a few days at a mental hospital so it was known that she had issues. Doctors never said she was dangerous.
On the other hand, she sent her husband for takeout at a place far enough away so that she could murder her kids. She used exercise bands and did it very deliberately. She will spend the rest of her life stuck in a wheelchair a constant reminder that she murdered her children. I cannot think of anything worse.
Wow! I hadn't heard all those details about it.
Postpartum psychosis, not depression. There is a difference. She was not in her right mind, so she cannot be convicted of murder. But trust me, she will punish herself more than any legal conviction ever could. It's an absolute tragedy.
I'm not disagreeing that it was a tragedy.
Hell yes its murder in the first degree.
