Where are all GaGs Lefties? I thought this was what you WANTED—so why aren’t you defending it?
Oh that’s right. You CAN’T.
They're not going to defend their love of pedophiles. They LOVE pedophiles, but they won't defend them. And some people on this thread don't understand what losing a liquor license means.
It's not just that the guests will have to go next door to get booze, these giant hotels rely on weddings, class reunions, corporate meetings.. etc. If Heavy D pulls this off, the Hyatt is fucked, and not in a good way.
I have a long range plan to move to Florida. It would be nice to live in a state where there is some common sense.
I hope that the Hyatt becomes the poster child for the phrase: "Go woke, go broke."
("Heavy D" is a nickname a national radio host gave him. I just like the name. )
If you're going to make a break for Florida, you better get there before all the left gets there and turns it into the shithole they fled from.
Same. I'm desperately trying to retire there.
I went there once. When we opened the door exiting the airport that went outside, the humidity felt like a mule kicked me in the gut. I've never experienced humidity and heat like that. But humans can adjust, it just takes time. On behalf of the Floridians, if Heavy D does move to Pennsylvania Avenue, I hope the vacuum he leaves behind, doesn't suck in an Andrew Cuomo-type.
yeah, cold sucks ass
I agree with you both. I was just explaining how my first experience with humidity, was. I would rather have hot than cold.
The trick I learned about heat and humidity, is that trying to fight it, just makes it worse. Just throw in the towel and admit defeat. The weather wins. Once you do that, you can move past it. Once I moved past that demon, I wanted to find an alligator! I wanted to get pics to take back home. How God damn fucking hard can it be to find an alligator in Florida? It wasn't like I was looking for them in Wyoming. I never found one.
Should I have bought an alligator whistle from the duck guys?
It's kind of a blow to your ego, when even alligators are afraid of you.
But at least the manatees were friendly. And they're good listeners.
I swam with some manatees this past Jan. They're chill.
@gorydetails
I heard on the news that a guy decided to take a swim in the Everglades. He managed to get lost for four days, and one of his arms fell off.
lol, only in florida.
@gorydetails
The crazy part of that story is... his arm fell off on day one. Crap, if I get a paper cut, I bleed two gallons of blood. The amazing part of the story isn't that there's actually a human dumb enough to swim in the Everglades, the amazing part is that after 4 days, he remembered where he parked his car.
I heard that once out to sea for months on end, the Pirates called them mermaids.

I might not be correct, but I thought it was you that said that captain Picard was forced to see three lights, when there were only two.
There are two camps of thought..
1. I'll believe it when I see it.
2. I'll see it when I believe it.
Democrats are the type that see things that they believe in. They believe that Biden can read.
In San Fran, it's 97 gender identities. (you have to use "identities" after the word, or the woke will correct you on this site.) And oddly enough, some of those identities will get you banned on here if you mention them.

Children aren't allowed to gamble in casinos. They aren't allowed into bars or strip clubs.
I don't know if it is still considered a sex crime for men to flash women in public.
I don't believe that all LGBTs are perverts. Not by a long shot. But the activists who get their thrills by doing lewd shit in front of children certainly are. They are the equivalent of child molesters. Those people should receive heavy fines and prison time and have "sex offender" on their permanent records. Their names should be made public so that people can drive them out of their neighborhoods. They should be banned from going near schools. Such perverts should be afraid - VERY afraid - to have their proclivities made known.
Schools and businesses who go along with this shit should be shut down and everyone who allowed it should be fired and prosecuted as accessories to sex crimes.
Parents who bring their kids to things like this should have their kids put in child protective services.
What's weird is, sicko libs wouldn't allow children to be exposed to heterosexual strip shows, but it's perfectly fine if the performers are homosexual, transsexual or transvestite. How is that not an attempt to groom children into the LGBTQ lifestyle by making it look fun and by promoting it exclusively?
I used to be a big supporter of LGBT rights. But the radicals need to be stopped. They are harming women, children and society.
On a side note, I'll add that it should be a crime to perform any medical "transitioning" treatment on minors.
I agree with everything you said. I watched a YouTube video of a large group of mothers and small children in Russia.
So here's my question to you: Who in this video do you blame?
A. The children
B. The moose
C. The parents

This is how I feel about what's happening in the video I posted here.
And that's how I feel about the drag shows. I want the hotel to be punished, and I want the drag queens to be punished, but ultimately, I despise the parent that took their kids to this shit.
Wow... just wow. First off, what parent brings their kids to something like that? What psychos want to sexualize Santa? No wonder Putin won't give up, he doesn't want this garbage sliding into his country... can't fault him if that's what he's thinking. enough of that...
I'm generally for freedom, but this challenges me when corrupting minors and the law sounds reasonable.
First off, the drag show people are responsible for this violation! They are to be held to the law, fined, punished for corrupting minors. They should issue an apology as well and be assigned mental health therapy, out of their pockets Put responsibility where it lies and stop putting blame on businesses..
The hotel... I'm not as sure, what did they know, what controls did they have? Are they supposed to validate every conference and show in the rooms rented? To some extent, ok. They have some culpability, but it has nothing to do with their drug sales. Maybe they should be fined and the executives paddled. Unless there is pain that they feel, then nothing changes and there is no motivation, basic humanity. I'd say the same whether it is prostitution/trafficking, etc.. I think. This is first blush, I could change my mind:)
I don't know enough about the details to judge, but I think it's wrong, but I respect the governor for attempting to address the problem.
The hotel knew this would happen and were warned not to do it. The hotel wanted this show to happen. If they can't keep kids out of this venue, how do they keep kids out of their bars?
Meh.
Hyatt should absolutely be punished, but this isn't exactly a case of the punishment fitting the crime. Instead, it should've consisted of very publicly making a show of the event management as well as the performers being arrested and chain ganged out of the building by state law enforcement, and smearing the sh*t out of Hyatt's name so that they fear ever being involved in something like that ever again.
Stripping away a liquor license is what you'd do if they were serving alcohol to minors. In this context, it's more of a weak sauce attempt to "do something" even though a much heavier handed approach would be totally justified.
Now it's my understanding that despite having swung very red over the last few years, the state legislature and bureaucrats are still very weak and squishy. It's possible that DeSantis and law enforcement wanted to bring down a heavier hammer, but this was the best they could do.
It's a start. I wish it would go further though. Shut them down, place crushing fines on them, arrest the responsible parties, whatever the maximum the law allows.
I heard that there have been cases where CPS has threatened to take kids from the parents if the parents don't go along with the woke crap in the classroom. Something is very wrong here.
They should have their business licence revoked.
Agreed. The pedophiles in this country are running amok.
The Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulations requires a hotel license. I suppose concerned citizens across the nation could file a few million complaints against Hyatt online to get the ball rolling...
Their licence number is: HOT2316974

Thanks
Good for him. It's time to purge these groomers.
The problem is, is Heavy D the ONLY governor with the guts to do it? And what will happen if Heavy moves into the white house? From what I've heard, the Floridians don't want Heavy to win the presidency, because they don't know what lump of shit will replace him.
@oatmealmuffin yeah that's the problem. The vast majority of the Republican party is spineless.
I heard a radio host talk about the possibility of having a third party. And I know, it's never worked before. But it might be worth another shot. Republicans are worthless, and the Democrats hate America. So here's my new party...
The Gory Party
* When we upgrade our electrical grid, get nuclear plants up and running, and invent better battery technology that doesn't destroy the Earth, we will push for electric cars.
*The states and their voters will decide what abortion laws work for them. It's unconstitutional for the Federal government to be involved.
*We love immigrants, but we need to uphold the federal law and vet who's coming into the country.
*All people should be allowed to play sports, so we're going to push for three gender categories. Male, female and transgender. Fighting is a waste of time.
*We're going to stop printing money, and balance a budget.
*Rather than the AJ call parents terrorists, just because they want to protect their kids from the woke agenda in public schools; we're going to offer school choice vouchers. If you like what's being taught in government schools, great, spend your voucher at a government school. If you want a private alternative, great, then spend your voucher at a private school.
*America has a work visa program, and we will go back to it. It's not fair to get a job just because you cut the line.
*We will slowly block Chinese imports, and American companies can choose to move back to America, or forego the US dollar for your products.
*School loan forgiveness will be based on private donors, and not forced upon the public.
*We will no longer bailout banks or automotive companies. Sink or swim.
*The department of education will be dismantled, as it serves no purpose
I'd vote for this, even if we lose to the Dems. It would send a message to the worthless Republicans.
I like it. And stop the endless wars and most, if not all foreign aid.
Losing their liquor licence is the very least that should happen. What were they thinking? It's bad enough to sexualize Christmas but exposing kids to that is just wrong. Not that it's any worse than what you let kids watch at the cinema, but that's a whole other topic.
I wouldn't scrape deSantis off my shoe if I stepped in him but I'm with him on this.
Why don't you like Heavy D?
Is that what they call deSantis? He voted against other states getting emergency money and then begged for it for Florida. Fuck that guy.
How can he vote against other states? Do you have a link?
I entirely agree. Disney too.
As big of a Trump fan as I am, Heavy D is sure impressing me.
I met up with my brother about a month ago, and he said the same thing you just said. As a matter of fact, he now hates Trump and wants DeSantis to win. He said that instead of Republicans fighting each other, why can't they pull their heads out of their asses and attack the left. He has a good point.
Good combo.
