The attempt to criminalize the NDA is absurd. His campaign might be fined.
Would I vote for him? No, nor would I vote for Biden. Both are big spenders who are part of the group that is setting the nation on a path to financial ruin.
$25-$30t in debt already. Get reaal
Are you kidding?
That sounds like a guaranteed win to me.

Trump's not the golden messiah that Q made him out to be. And his return wouldn't solve much. But to jail him for an NDA? Means the real criminals, the child eaters in Congress with all that Epstein baggage, are beyond desperate. Thing is, he should've prosecuted them five years ago.
Even more laughably, so many didn't wake up that Democrats were this insane until they wanted to jail Trump over this nonsense.
I'm like: "Did you not do any homework at all on the dog and pony show that was the jailing of Don Blankenship? Where were you when Millie Weaver got tortured jail? What drug-induced la la land were you in when Katherine Henry was needlessly subjected to police brutality? Did you all just conveniently forget about Bob Miner, and what a farce that Barbera Ritter was pulling?"
The number of blank stares I get.
The View says we have to go after Trump, because we can't give former presidents a free pass if they do something illegal. So about Obama's war crimes...
What the DA in New York wants to charge him with isn't something someone would do jail time for- Hillary Clinton's campaign paid a fine for paying for the Steele Dossier in the Russia Hoax matter with campaign funds.
Yeah I saw that many got away with a lot of the same stuff and nothing happened.
@Avicenna
You wrote: "What the DA in New York wants to charge him with isn't something someone would do jail time for."
I am definitely no lover of Trump and would love to see him behind bars, but, off the top of my head, that's what I was thinking.
It's hard to fathom paying somebody to not admit they had sex with you is a big issue worthy of a felony.
At the same time, this wasn't an ordinary circumstance because this was while he was legally a candidate for President. Once you legally become a candidate in a state, there are likely all sorts of laws that kick-in.
I'm not sure that's what the issue is here though.
I believe it has to do with HOW she got paid to keep her mouth shut... that, instead of a direct payment, it was ultimately an expense of the Trump Organization and that this is a falsification of business records or something. I'm not sure how serious this really is - it's not like fraud.
So, we'll have to see what he is charged with first.
@abc3643: This is a federal election, and I wouldn't assume any good faith on the part of Bragg (the prosecutor). Note the reference to John Edwards in 2008, an attempt to prosecute that was also legally weak.
nypost.com/.../
Also, Alvin Bragg is the District Attorney for New York County (*), so his jurisdiction is limited. Trump, as a resident of Manhattan at the time of the alleged crime, would thus be subject to his jurisdiction.
President Biden does not live in New York nor has performed any alleged crimes in New York, thus District Attorney Bragg has no reason to investigate.
(*) In New York State, New York County is all of Manhattan Island and a tiny bit of the mainland known as Marble Hill which, long ago, was part of the island but became part of the mainland due to landfill. Also, the District Attorney for New York County is what the Law & Order character of Jack McCoy is; that character is played by Sam Waterston.
Lol I might be tempted to honestly. Having an inmate run the country is the perfect metaphor for just how fucked up our political system has become.
I don't understand what the difference is. Even if he WAS guilty, we've had a number of criminals running the country, before! Look at the crime family we've got in charge, now!! They've practically DESTROYED the country and aren't done with us, yet!! We went through THREE Bush terms, 2 Clinton terms, 2 Soetoro terms, 2 Nixon/Ford terms, almost 2 LBJ terms, we've been run by criminals almost non-stop since Kennedy was murdered!! So this guy SUPPOSEDLY gave a few bucks to a porn star!! BIG FUCKING DEAL!!! Compared to the atrocities the others have committed over the past 60 years, that's like putting a "Kick Me!" sign on someone's back!!
@FunkyMonkee The best thing about this guy is he provides insight into how Hitler stayed in power. Even after everything has come to light people still blindly support this lunatic and attempt to rationize his behavior. No obviously America has never had a convicted felon who attempted to over throw the government as president.
@Vegasrunner I'm not talking about Biden.
@FunkyMonkee Trust me ever college educated person knows who you're talking about. TBH comparing the last guy to almost any other president isn't fair because the only one that tried to actively overthrow the government is cheetoe. I'm just thankful that America was able to hold off his last cou attempt however intelligent people need to remember how close this clown cane to being successful. As for the people that still support this guy, it only proves how fleeting democracy actually is and how easy it is to brainwash those unable to utilize critical thinking skills.
@Vegasrunner Does that mean you never made it into college?
@FunkyMonkee No, I own two BA's but it does bring into question your own education if, you interpreted that from my statement, and you still support a guy who tried to overthrow the government.
@Vegasrunner I DON'T support Biden!! YOU'RE the one that referenced Biden in each of your comments!! I was talking about Trump!
What have you done with your BA's, used them to wipe your BA after taking a shit? Sounds like that's all they're good for!
@FunkyMonkee I see where you're confused. No I never referenced president Biden. If I did previously please show me where. I'm not sure what the relevance is, you asked if I went to college, I answered, now you need to know the value. If you don't value higher education why did you ask?
@Vegasrunner Problem is, I'm NOT the confused one!!
@FunkyMonkee Seems like you are. You mentioned a reference of Biden but are unable to provide any evidence of me referencing him. Do you typically make up random statements and attribute them to others?
You've gotta be a special kind of stupid to think a man can run the country from prison. This is precisely why Trump supporters are often considered degenerates.
bahahahahaha
@Bricealan lol It's a username silly. Next, my comment was meant to be inflammatory, but to say it's irresponsible? That genuinely made me laugh. The irony here is how vastly irresponsible it is to even consider if a man can successfully run the country from prison. So to answer your question, at least when it comes to this thread, you'll serve the reason why most people consider most trump supporters degenerates. Way to go bud.
If he was one of the two nominees, probably. But I prefer DeSantis. Though, admittedly, "the first sitting president to be arrested by the opposing political party while that party was in power" certainly does have a nice ring to it. It'd really solidify his position as opposing the corruption of our government.
DeSantis for the win 100%
I am not American but only fools vote on him. You guys need to change your democratic system. It doesn't work because you have the worst candidates. None care about the people they are all draining the your country to the bottom. Only benefiting the people at the top.
Technically that might be constitutional but for all intents and purposes, it would be impossible to do the job from prison with no staff, equipment or means of communication other than timed and monitored phone calls. If elected, you’d probably have to be considered incapacitated and the VP would have to run things. The case in NY probably won’t result in prison time anyway but the looming indictments in Georgia are a whole different ballgame. No, I wouldn’t vote for Trump under any circumstance.
If you think about it, the White House is basically a prison. Nobody can come and visit you without getting permission from White House security (the warden). You can’t just go out to Five Guys for a burger because all your food is brought in securely. You also can’t leave the White House without having secret service (parole officers) come with you. Plus, if you go and leave the White House, the entire national security apparatus (local and state law enforcement) will go looking for you.
yes, although if trump were arrested a civil war would be a more reasonable outcome. there is no point to respect rule of law anymroe as it is obviously long gone. the republic does not serve any use. the future belongs to whoever can fill the most mass graves with their enemies
The fact that 29 people have voted "yes" gives me even more fears about America than i already had 😂🤦🏻♀️
I mean I guess Boris Johnson could come back to the US and run lol
that guys a troll. i been seeing his stuff everywhere lol
Not my choice to make , sadly I don't get a vote in the USA.
I do think its crazy if they try and arrest him , will make things far worse , but he may get more votes from in Jail? Who knows?
Sorry, regardless of whether I support him or anyone else, an elected official running a branch of government from a jail cell sets a terrible precedent. This country needs to quit hanging onto it's icons on either side of the aisle.
As president he'll be able to pardon himself, right?
@Tstrbrainer NO!
@Tstrbrainer Only for federal crimes, it's the states that seem to be taking the lead at the moment.
😬🙂🙃😂🤣🤪
Thank you for the information
@Tstrbrainer Obviously. The New York Times reported that during Trump's closing days in office he told aides he was considering pardoning himself.
In Ex parte Garland, the Supreme Court majority ruled:
The power thus conferred is unlimited, with the exception stated. It extends to every offence known to the law, and may be exercised at any time after its commission, either before legal proceedings are taken, or during their pendency, or after conviction and judgment. This power of the President is not subject to legislative control. Congress can neither limit the effect of his pardon, nor exclude from its exercise any class of offenders. The benign prerogative of mercy reposed in him cannot be fettered by any legislative restrictions.
What are the stated exceptions?
But yeah that’s all we need lol if I was elected president while locked up my first action as commander in Chief is a presidential pardon for me and my buddies if it gets blocked that’s okay as long as the secret service is there in case I drop the soap.
Jail or no jail, not voting for Saudi Arabia's 8itch.
Biden allowed the investigation and prosecution of our journalist die then Saudi Arabia signs historic deal with China. Okay lol
Which was wrong and one of the many reasons I never have and never will support Biden. Biden doesn't care about journalist, other wise he would have pardoned Assange instead of trying extradite him to the US. Always gets me how peoples are quick to accuse people supporting the other person, for disliking their person, when in reality they simply dislike both.
I was speaking in General not trying to say Biden is your guy. I don't ever post in this section so it thought it would be fun to stir up some shit. But what did Trump do to make him Saudi's bitch?
That's OK I'm use to being accused of being both a Trump and Biden guy. As for Trump and Saudi Arabia, it's numerous of things. This video highlight one/some.

I don't get it. What attack is Trump talking about that he is offering assistance for?
I kind of remember that now. So do we know who attacked the oil refineries? And what do you think about WWE selling to them?
Not conclusively, but some sources pointed to Iran, but Iraq's WMD's have taught me to always take what the government says with a grain of salt. As a WWE fan, I'm not very happy about it, it's an American company and should stay American owned. Shocked Vince didn't hand over the company to Shane or Stephanie.
I think everyone thought that would happen but I guess the money was too good to pass up for the shareholders.
Fuck it, there was a line we shouldn't have crossed, but we've clearly crossed it. Let's keep going to how shit things can turn.
That's crazy we're already the running joke of the world I don't need them to cheapen the presidency anymore than it already is. Why is it certain jobs? You can't get if you got a criminal record. But you can be the united states president with the criminal record?
I think it would be funny if both Trump and Biden ran for president from behind bars.
Only if I'm forced to. Trump wasn't my preferred choice the first time but you pitted Hillary against him. It kind if tied my hands. I'll vote for Nikki Haley. But if the Republicans give him the nomination... well let's just hope it doesn't come to that again.
He could just give himself a pardon. All I will say is Trump is better than Biden. We'll see who is actually running. Maybe that idiot Newsome will be running too.
