Do you follow what's happening with the global economy... and your country's economy?

Does inflation, interest rates, GDP, the stock market, and economic indicators like the consumer price indicator and jobs reports, really make sense to you?

Or, do you just leave all that stuff up to others and try to survive as best as you can?

I'm an amateur Economist... it all makes sense to me

you really left it where no one can get it... but to be simple... inflation and not obeying the laws of economy like not drilling a oil in a country like united states will cause inflation eg gas is doubled and at time tripled so products wil go up cause inflation... when they raise rates it takes money out of the economy for the middle class who are the most the rich will benefit because their saving % will increase... economy is reflective of the immediate never years away like some will lead you to believe either.

The economy is like the sea. I understand tides, waves, ripples and swirls. But there's sod all I can do. It seems to me that even those who study economics and who's job it is seem no better at it either.

My day job is working in Forex. I know exactly how money works better than most people. The economy is doing what it always does: moving in waves. It goes up and down on a regular basis and recessions/depressions are a normal part of it. Banks collapse, businesses close, inflation goes up and then people recover. Nothing new to see here.

My advice is don't do it. Learning stocks is the same thing as learning how to trade cryptocurrency or Forex. But the required capital for day trading stocks is ridiculously high. You need to have at least $50,000 in your account at all times if you want to day trade. Otherwise you risk a PDT flag on your account. Also, the IRS loves to audit amateur day traders. I got an audit from the IRS over a simple $132 profit. Make the switch to Forex or binary or Crypto where the IRS doesn't care and you can day trade for as low as $100.

Nobody really understands the economy. That includes people who call themselves economists. I do understand that printing money makes us all poorer.
