Regardless of what you think of transgender people generally can you at least agree they should not be harassed ever?

Due to the stigma and full on assault of transpeople lately, a number of people just can't seem to help themselves but harass, or bully them. people just feel more and more emboldened now to treat them as less than human beings.

Here's some stats for you. Trans people are often mistreated, harassed, even physically assaulted. And not to mention a number of them end up committing suicide thanks to all these issues piling up on them mainly. I'm not asking you to agree with who they want to be but can you at the very least agree that they should never be harassed for what they are going through?

Nobody is immune from criticism... maybe narcissists are, but that's about it. And if people can harass everyone else for the most mundane of things that people have to walk on eggshells, bad people, no matter who they are or what they identify as, deserve to be told they are bad. That's how people improve because they won't self-reflect otherwise.

I simply want them, and everyone else, to not be harmed or mutilated. A blow to the ego does not count. I want empathy - they want enablement. I will treat every human like a human. But if they are being horrible, I will tell them that. If they are harming themselves, I will tell them that. If I get demonized and attacked for saying that whilst they project onto me, no wonder they're not getting any actual help from people who simply want them to love themselves instead of promoting this terrible body insecurity, self-love is very important and it starts from within, not through external vanities/insecurities. We shouldn't promote hate... that includes of our own selves, but this is a community that monopolizes and capitalizes off of destroying healthy bodies and turning them into psychological lab rats. Nobody is harming the people, they are hating the ideology, because it simply is an ideology and a harmful one at that. They can project all they want but it's the enablement of transgenderism that creates the suicide. They are still just as suicidal when they look like a very good stereotype of the opposite sex and will pass, and before the whole ideology, there is no correlation in history showing suicidality from this. If I'm not allowed to call a sexist person sexist, and in fact they're even rewarded with money and attention whilst anyone who calls them out is attacked and gaslit, we're living in a corrupt hierarchy, though this time, the privileged hierarchy can pretend they are the victim and project onto the majority of the population. Nobody is hating a man wearing a dress, they are hating the sexualization and objectification of exaggerated sexist woman traits, and basic manners. Life proves this time and time again, we were fine when male rock bands had long hair and wore makeup, but that's because it isn't a caricature of what a man thinks a woman looks like - again, one's ego demanding people bend down on all fours is not basic manners... and is actually foul manners on your end.

Telling an anorexic person that they are too skinny, should put weight on, and that they are harming themselves by doing this, is not skinnyphobic. Telling a person with Munchausen Syndrome that their kidney is totally fine and that they shouldn't mutilate it, or pump lots of drugs their body seriously does not need, is not whatever buzzword you can put into the word salad. I have logic and actual empathy, and even trans people admit that the problem is rooted in their brain, not their body. A doctor will never find a body anomaly, only a lot of mental illness, and those are in the DSM because they cause distress... something they very much feel. Why... why has it become controversial to diagnose someone as mentally ill and wish that they get help? I thought we lived in a society that actually wanted to improve things, but instead, they've exploited that and now if you're vocal about finding a small child being told how to masturbate in school a bad thing, you're locked up for "bigotry", or if you want to tell a suicidal person to learn to love themselves, you're a bad person and should just let them die if they told you so? Because we allllll know how reliable and reasonable the human mind is 100% of the time, especially when one is in discomfort or distress. The hypocrisy never fails to confuse me, but I can see why it's always negative endings. If you hate your nose, the problem isn't your nose, it's your poor self-esteem. *Shocked.* Plastic/cosmetic surgeons are the most corrupt people to exist. Why are we okay with people capitalizing and literally harming people's perfectly imperfect faces and bodies simply because we take advantage of the client's insecurities? The only thing they improve is their egos, and that's only short-term and it becomes an addiction. These are multi-billion dollar companies. They were originally made to actually provide help, such as for burn victims... not for social media's promotion of our poor self-images and always comparing ourselves to other people. I should be allowed to tell people that they need to learn to love themselves, not an unrealistic image of who they want to be. Everyone to an extent wants a different face or body that's unattainable naturally... just because there is genitalia involved for these people does not mean it is any different... we seem to have an obsession over this.

Low self-esteem is throughout and never goes away, it is only masked better through a mask... quite literally with vanity procedures. They still hate themselves enough to take it out on anyone who remotely misgenders them. Please, call me a guy all you want. But if you call a trans woman a man, it proves even further that they still do not see themselves as a woman. So clearly it's not fixed anything and their insecurities are still there; even if magically nobody ever misgenders them, they still would get offended by external sources, and sexist sources of "womanhood" that they have not obtained yet, or not 100%. This literally sounds very mentally ill. Women don't get offended over being called a man. That's since it's a deep-rooted insecurity in trans people that is NOT being treated.
Addictions make people happy but like hell do they harm them. If you do a study on them and it shows how much they hate themselves when not doing the addiction, and how much they like themselves with doing the addiction, it NEVER proves that it means it's the right thing. You ain't solving anything, you're just adding fuel to the fire and duh, you'll enjoy it until you realise all the buildings are on fire.
Why can't we tell people to love their immutable characteristics? That's literally abolishing every form of sexism, racism, etc. out there. The best source is through people's personal experiences when they are out of said "high". People who can compare both experiences in and out; one who was out, then in, then out, or someone who was in, then out, then in, have better examples if you're going to get information personally. It also gives you that long-term information from both sides if both sides were long-term.
The irony is that if you asked the same about any other group of people in your first post, most would say the same thing. None of those statistics in the first place even clarify that such harassment, real or imagined, was from them being trans or from anything else.

It's the whole toxic negative mindset again of "bad things happen to me *because* I am trans" that makes their mental health worse. Newsflash, I know. Who knew that making an insecurity a huge part of your life has terrible consequences?
PLEASE tell me how it is "wrong" and "ineffective" to diagnose a mentally ill person as mentally ill and give them therapy? The whole reason someone's in therapy is that your mindset harms you; they admit it does. Usually, most patients end up crying a lot after the first session and then feel terrible and need that extra strength to go again. This happens in all severe cases. Those with anger issues may take it out on the therapist. The therapist isn't going to bend over backward to appeal to an angry patient just to make them "feel better", now THAT is wrong and ineffective. A therapist tells them what's okay, what isn't, what's natural, what isn't, and how they can change it to improve the health of others and themselves. If you think therapy is "wrong" for any human being, then you're obviously admitting you don't want people to get help. There's nothing wrong with releasing your emotions and not getting a scalpel because of it, yet it seems you don't even want the scalpel and therapy, you just want the scalpel because someone said so.
I like people that are willing to do their own research that goes against their beliefs stepping outside of sources that are nitpicked. There are plenty out there, if you want an open discussion then you need that open discussion with yourself first. Transgender surgery is a very new thing. Most post-op haven’t been trans for 10+ years. These “studies” on seeing cigarette smokers be happy in the first few years is vague, may not even be from the smoking, and need that long-term evidence before you pump it out and wonder why they’re dying years down the line.

I just think it’s a wasted effort. No one prioritizes important things anymore, left or right- our economy, jobs, quality of life, public health, water, etc. All the mental energy that could be going towards important, meaningful things for the greater good are spent on social “issues” that I really don’t get the fixation on. Good for someone if they are transgender, and they should be treated with humanity and respect like anyone else, but I am so tired of no one talking about actually important and more universal topics. It’s like a distraction or cop out because no one wants to change or even talk about larger matters.

Anyone at any time will be bullied or harassed for the choices they make. I feel zero sympathy for that as it is a counter culture movement, and there will be more backlash there. Much like when I did drugs I had backlash for that.

Now, people should be able to live safe from violence, on that I agree, no matter who you are or what choices you've made. If the police can't give that to you, carry a gun and travel with a group.

Also, forget about trans, or the trans movement. There are people who are pleasant to be around, and people who are assholes. If I have a neighbor living the life of BDSM, trans, or whatever and they're friendly, I'm going to give them zero shit about that.

At the end of the day, being trans doesn't determine whether or not someone is a good person or not - that's determined by your character, treatment of others, etc.

It’s just really difficult to accept it as natural. Sometimes I randomly get triggered, but for the most part I don’t really care. I don’t go out of my way to harass anyone. Once on a game a girl and I had some beef and she started trying to piss me off, calling me “mommy” 😂😭 it worked because I started calling her a bunch of “would-be-appropriate-had-she-been-les-in-actuality,” but she … I don't know if she was. Later she said just joking, but either way. It was used in a negative context and the only way to say I am straight and to refuse it hardcore and make it seem bad.

Same thing for if a food I dislike-

If someone says I like guacamole 🥑, which I don’t… then I will go so far to say I loathe it and refuse it. Am I trying to deliberately hurt any guacamole’s feelings I’m the room? Not really lol

I don't believe that anybody should be harassed, whether that person is transgender or not. However, in this case, it does depend on how the word "harassment" is defined because of the word's subjectivity. For instance, a person can be accused of "harassment" simply for stating the facts about how sex chromosomes determine a person's sex and can't be altered, meaning that being male or female isn't something a person can merely choose. Opposing opinions and/or the statement of facts that one might disagree with should never be considered harassment. However, if a person impedes on a transgender person's privacy and/or general wellbeing, their actions can be considered harassment and therefore shouldn't be allowed. With that said, of course they shouldn't be assaulted if they didn't deserve it either.
