What are those incentives? Men are guaranteed to lose almost everything in family court such an overwhelming majority of time as to be a foregone conclusion, the dating scene is, charitably, a shit filled dumpster fire, traditionally masculine traits are ostracized, and public life from the age of approximately five on up seeks to diminish, destroy, emasculated, or otherwise deprogram boys. I'm going to respond up here because it is faster and participants can answer faster.

Economically: The economic rug is being pulled out from under most Americans, men and women alike. However, the level of discrimination against men in large corporations has hit extreme levels since the recent imposition of ESG by the big asset management firms (Blackrock, etc.) as a condition for investment. My advice to men, especially white men, is to go where you are welcome. If you hear “we need more women X,” those positions will be increasingly difficult to obtain. For example, I know of one company that told their young, white male top performers that they would never be promoted to management due to “equity reasons.” So this leaves the trades and small businesses or fields that women hate to work in: traditional skilled labor, computer coding, network security, accounting, for those who can get in (despite more affirmative action discrimination) dentistry and optometry.

Socially: Most churches took on a very feminized aura as early as the late 1800s. Ever since, male participation in these institutions declined more rapidly than female. Any “male space” that thrives enough to attract the attention of our elites is subject to civil rights lawsuits and corporate boycotts until it integrates women. Of course a guy can always just hang out with friends, but whole spheres of socialization have been wrecked by the regime.

Romantically: The trend toward non-monogamous, casual sex has worked against young men and, in the long term, women seeking commitment. In addition to what is essentially a rise in polygamy working against most men, the family courts as well as gender confusion (25% of women in their 20s identifying as non-binary) are massive disincentives to men when it comes to relationships. Add to this decreased motivation due to declining testosterone levels and Skinner boxes like porn, drugs, and video games.

Politically: I think people are increasingly aware that our politics is fake. An exercise in mass distraction and propaganda to keep people from observing the important fiscal and foreign policy malfeasance of our elites. Protest and activism? You’re likely to end up targeted by Antifa or BLM if you’re on the right side of the aisle. If one is willing to have zero integrity, there might be incentive to political activism through the parties. But again, we see roles being reserved for non-male candidates. There is no other way to explain the meteoric rise of Kamala Harris, a politician who couldn’t attract more than 5% in the polls and had an odious background of trading sexual favors for political advancement. Facing headwinds like this one is more disincentive for men to be politically engaged.

Economically: Yes, but reasons will vary outside of survival, for me its luxury, health, creativity, and entertainment.
Socially: It depends on who it's with, I'm picky, and I prefer having small friend groups, others aren't like me though, and like solitude or being popular.
Politically: In the US? No, Thats rigged, been rigged since long before anyone alive today was even born.
Romantically: Yes, but most men make the mistake of dating women they can't relate to.

As for the dumpster fire, She can't get anything in court if you do a good enough prenup or tie your funds in a paren'ts account, and the only actual masculine traits are physical ones (penis, balls, beards, etc), and most women are attracted to those. What specifically is getting ostracized?

I was talking to someone about the amount of guy friends who confide in me about how they girlfriend do them.

I admit, a lot of guys have self inflicted wounds, but just as many have been amazing partners, but they girlfriend put them through it.

I think we as a society put to much value on finding someone to settledown with, and not as much value as finding the right person to settledown with.

The really knowing who you getting with, and making sure they are the one, really is important.

Well that is the right attitude because most people get stuck in bad marriages because they settle for whatever and then complain about their marriage falling apart, and complains because the person they settled for screwed them in court

My father did nothing wrong and lost everything because my mother was convinced by a lawyer friend that she could take all his money and get custody because of misandrist family courts and then find someone else with two of another man's kids while living on the settlement money. Inside a year she was broke and lonely and no man would have her. She lied to the court about fake abuse from a man whose life almost ended in an explosion not that long ago, from which he still has the scars and skin grafts. His crime was not being able to go get her more money because he was in pain and traumatized.

Of course- if you don't work, you don't eat. And even in this country, being homeless sucks- especially if you're a man, since so many of the available resources are reserved for women.

Of course, you probably meant in a less extreme sense; refusing to participate in the rat race doesn't mean dropping out of society entirely. If you're willing to live a humble life, you can get by on a relatively small amount of money and work to live, rather than the other way around.
