Yes, it is my concern. Someone call 911 to arrest them.
Nope, that is none of my business.

1. It is our concern if someone under the influence gets in their car and causes an accident, injuries, or even death.
2. Our concern if they OD and the rest of us must pay the bill for their ER visit to save their life.
3. Our concern if they develop an addiction and resort to thievery to support their habit.
4. Our concern that the money they spend on drugs supports absolutely immoral drug cartels.
5. Our concern if they entice others to join in the drug use.
When they wake up in the ambulance bay and start swinging at us because we administered narcan when they are legally dead and they are somehow alive again, that's always fun. No effect on staff burnout whatsoever.
Yet I'm the asshole for telling them after the restraint that next time the check in process will take a few minutes longer.
If someone wants to sit home and get high that is their business. If they want to pass out on the street and steal to support their habit and get high on the subway that is everyone's business.
The main concern is that kids will have easier access to it if our nation is a whole starts caring less about drug use. But I get where you're coming from, and honestly I totally agree that we should just let druggies be druggies and kill themselves off.
That’s harsh! You want them to kill themselves?
The Bush crime family makes WAY too much money on 'illegal' drugs to allow the war on drugs to be won. It is far more profitable to play both sides in that war that only the common people lose.

there is crime everywhere now. If there are over a hundred thousand people that died of an OD in 2022 how many strung out zombies are out there breaking into homes and cars and robbing liquor stores. This is all because of a lax attitude about drug use. Thee is no stigma attached to it. This is wrong, there should be a huge stigma attached to it. If you have a drug bust on your record it should follow you throughout your life, effecting your career. They are not called junkies anymore they are the addicted community. It is freaking crazy.
I have never taken any illegal drugs but you the way in drugs has failed it’s a free country for adults put an age limit on it 18-21 whatever) do what you want you break a law in the process under the influence of drugs the punishment doubled like a DUI
Drugs aren't so much the problem as is the associated crime and antisocial behaviour plus the medical costs of dealing with addicts. No one cares about the stock taker snorting coke off a whores ass but they do care about an elevator smelling like weed.
I'd be OK with adults being allowed to use whatever drugs they wanted to in exchange for forfeiting tax funded hospital privileges FOR LIFE if they test positive for schedule 1 substances, mandatory employer notification, "they were tripping balls and attacked me" becomes an affirmative defense for use of deadly force, and they had to carry a 100k minimum insurance policy for damages while under the influence. Sure it's a free country but actions have consequences which should not have to be paid by those who did not make the decision to use. This would apply equally to stock takers just like everyone else.
I hope you don't actually believe we should willingly just allow drug use because...freedom. The precise reason this is everyone's problem is because that person under the influence could kill themselves or others under the influence. This person could be your child's teacher losing their mind in a classroom or someone flying the plane you're on. What if that "freedom" drug user is a parent, and their kids get into their stash and OD. You okay with that?
What about alcohol then and hard liquor
Exhibit A: the prohibition era in the US
Like drugs, these are also regulated. We don't sell to minors and there are serious consequences for those that choose to drink and driver for example.
I don't care too much personally, because people will do whatever stupid thing they'll do wether or not I say anything about it. I'll advise against it and notify authorities of anything illegal but honestly people are dumb and will ruin their life's wether or not I try to help them.
As long as they aren't driving or operating heavy machinery or responsible for kids they should be allowed. Kids is a big one. I remember one scene in the movie trainspotting, b4 that if was all very quirky and funny.
Someone has to clean bodies off the streets. People desperate for drugs may also commit crimes to get them, so it is society's concern. But that said, I think legalization is less bad than what we have now
I want to be naked in my backyard swimming pool.
I don't see that being legal anytime soon, either.
That word "free" is a doozy when you think about it.
Is this video of a successful society or a failed society?
I worry when people use stimulants like meth, because they tend to get very physically aggressive and angry. Other than that, I don't much care.
I but it should be regulated by the FDA. Or else we’ll have 20x the fetynal crisis.
Yes it is.
Why is it your business
Why do I have to pay for prisons.
