Going off of current reports, at least 60% of that is going to "disappear" and end up laundered off to political interest groups and campaigns here, and paying off politicians and businesses elsewhere.

I don't support a dime for that war until the corruption is all but erased from it. Every. Single. Dollar. Should be accounted for at all times. We all know damn well we will never be compensated for it, but we just keep digging ourselves into the gutter over a stupid conflict we don't really have serious interests in.

I mean, you sort of are? More specifically, you are sending your obsolete military equipment. That means that while they are technically worth billions of dollars, they dont actually cost you anything to send since its stuff you have already used and discarded for newer equipment. Stuff that is currently decaying in storage that you paid dearly for to one day fight the Russians. Well guess what? Now they actually have the chance to fight the Russians so its a rare case of the money going towards what it was actually meant to.

But I digress. 375 million dollar in military aid is fairly small from USA. Its not really even worth me taking notice of compared to the bigger picture.

$375 million I wonder where its going to go? Are they giving Ukraine $375 million worth of ammunition and weapons? Or are they getting money from Congress that will disappear while the US military for instance gives its old stockpiles of 5.56mm and M4s/M16s to Ukraine? Remember the US military is replacing the 5.56mm and M4s/M16s for a new 6.8mm round and M5 assault rifle. Its the same with nearly every piece of cold war era design and equipment its all being replaced.
