Answer straight.. because there is shame in it. I have always had feminine jobs.. like nanny/kindergarten teacher/personal assistent etc and there is not much money in that field. Don't get me wrong I do love my job but there is definatly shame in it..

I think most of the hate comes from other women but a lot of women don't feel safe enough to let them be feminine. I've noticed the more happy and safe I feel the more feminine I act and dress..

I think both these factors plays a big part in it.

Women are notoriously self-centered and dont have the same ability to see the world through other people's eyes the way men can. Psychology has proven ad nauseum that women are more materialistic than men and they judge men based on MONEY and STATUS. Due to them being so self-absorbed they think men are the same way and so this makes them think that us men give two fucks or a single shit about how much money they have, their college degree or career status.

Then, when men say we dont care about any of that, the female ego kicks in (yet again) and tells them that men are so-called "intimidated" by strong career women.
