Germany's economy collapsing , what will this mean?

As a German I´d say it´s the last. The problem is that Germany is rich comparing to other countries but it´s the government that´s rich not the people. We got high taxes, high energy prices and high expenses for wealthfare. I´m not completely sure but I recently read that Germany pays 1,16 billion euros as wealthfare expenses. The average citizen in many European countries got more money in their bank account.
The problem I see is though the current tendency of completely of trying to transform everything at once in light of environmentalism while ignoring the effects on the economy. Though I´m generally speaking in favor of changing parts of the society in light of climate change it could get out of hand when big companies like the car companies or pharmacy companies move out of the country.
That´s kind of working for the most because many Germans lack a basic knowledge of accounting since they never came in contact with finances or political economy.
So German economy is currently at risk either it will turn out great or it will completely fail.

You'd think after the Third Reich that Germany would think that do away with socialism (national or otherwise). But no, clearly enough of the citizens who live there have the mindset of "what? Free stuff? Tell me more"/"all of the world's problems are the government's responsibility to solve" as if that worked out *so well* for them before.

Germany has become the richest European country with their economic system, while paying off two world wars and one reunification. So, yes, it has worked out very well for us.

@DryGermanGuy It did great post wwii until this past decade. Now Germany is making dumb decisions like thinking that having nuclear power plants is bad even though it doesn't use any fossil fuels which is what I thought was the type we didn't want. I am speaking from an outsiders perspective and am basing my opinion off of news stories I have heard.

Republicans refused to raise the debt ceiling until their outrageous demands that they'd have had no chance ever of getting by voting were given in to.

How many Democrats will have to vote for a deal that they hate because Republicans will vote to unconstitutionally destroy faith in the US government? 10, 100?
