Yea I would consider that normal. Most people will open carry a Glock AK-47 is actually safer to open carry than a hand gun. A hand gun can be easily stolen from one’s belt vs an AK, AK-47 and any rifle is easier to control and safer in an emergency. Especially since people tend to talk with there hands it’s better to have a gun that your not waving around and need both hands to control rather then a hand gun
