Why is the Russian-Ukrainian war still going on?

It should be two weeks long "special operation" and turned out in war of attrition. Now everyone waits until one of the conflict countries starts to destabilize due war fatigue of the pleb and oligarchy. Bigger and multi ethnic countries are per definition less stable than smaller and ethnically homogeneous ones, that's why Russia has huge disadvantage here. There are a lot of candidates who want to be fully independent of militarily and economically incompetent Russia.
It works for Putin, Biden and Zelenskyy. They're all raking in the billions from US tax payers. Are people dying, yes. But not Putin, Biden and Zelenskyy. They don't care. And just wait... Biden will put US boots on the ground, even though he promised he wouldn't. Biden is as big of a liar as his retarded press secretary.
USSR creates a beaten zone? A killing zone. It can't be allowed to exist. EU should expedite Ukraine membership as the general pace of Russia makes it look like establishing a longer front North to South. Bahkmut may be a soviet style manipulation of the Russian populace, sorry US conservatives but they are nothing if not brave!

As long as comedian zelensky is receiving billions it won't end
The elites and that's it. They couldn't care less about anyone else especially the suckers they are sending out to get themselves killed.
because Putin won't withdrawal fully from Ukraine
Because the money keeps flooding
@Matt-G One side is being propped up by the US and Europe. The other side hasn't learned lessons from the past. Look at Russia's death totals from WW2 and how they just threw untrained soldiers at the enemy thinking numbers would win. Same thing now and the civilians in these countries are those who will pay.
I disagree, WW2 Russia was forced into mass casualty battles, and won! That's clearly the lesson they learned. This has been repeated, became doctrine. I think that this time there is more to it this time, blowing the Nordstrom pipelines for instance is a great move to level the economic sanctions in the short term. I really think they will be playing for keeps. Look at the rhetoric, defending against a Nato expansion. I'd want a dead zone to throw my tac nukes into.
