which advantages if any? for Scotland be an independent republic from u. k. parliament. if your answer differed here from Ireland why?

Have you looked at the UK on a globe? It's so tiny most of the time it isn't even drawn properly. If you split it you diminish its standing in the world stage even further.

Advantages? Well at the minute Scotland can bring in new laws as long as they are no not against the interests of the UK as a whole, e. g. Drink driving limits are lower in Scotland. If they break free then they would have no restrictions.

And there is the problem, those who scream independence always seem reluctant to say what they'll do with it. Recently the SNP tried to bring in laws to make it easier and faster for children to change gender. Most people in Scotland we're against it but if the UK hadn't stopped them then it would now be law.

I love Scotland but I don't think we should leave the UK. If this is about Brexit, we will sort stuff out. If we leave, Ireland will waa rejoin more 🫤

None whatsoever, the biggest risk being the ludicrous idea of forcing us to remove our nuclear weapons out of their waters, bearing in mind the threat from Russia and those weapons serve as a defence.

Not that much. They still get their budget approved from London. The entire population of Scotland is smaller than the population of london so you could argue that the Scottish Parliament is more like a council than a Parliament.
