Why would someone leave their driveway light on 24 hours a day?

These people never shut it off even when they’re home. It’s such a waste of energy and it makes no sense

I'm guilty of this and the reason we leave them on is that I just simply don't think about them. I can't see them from inside the house so I forget they are on.

It’s not solar. This is a new development. We all have the same lights.

some people dont like the dark. i sleep with lights on. have a solar light that charges during the day and turns itself on at night. maybe they dont know the light is on as they are rarely out at night and believes its automatic

One of mine is solar powered LED. It's not wasting any energy that would have any other function.
