If there were as many wealthy/rich women as men (same rate), would male golddiggers increase too?

I have a feeling that many humans are sadly corrupted with greed and if given the opportunity or power to take advantage of others, would do it.

So here is the question, be honest; what would happen if this scenario took place:

If there the amount of women taking interested in STEM majors increased greatly and suddenly there were equal number of wealthy/rich women... would male golddiggers increase too? What do you think?

So the easy answer is of course yes. Anything else is asinine and lying to yourself.

Do male gold diggers exist in any capacity? Yes, lets not pretend otherwise.
Would more targets lead to more gold diggers? Yes.
If for no other reason than the fact that some for who it was previously just a thought it now becomes an option.

So it absolutely would increase.

Now would the proportion come close to matching women? Probably not. Men, despite pursuing money much more, do not normally value status and assets of their partner much in a relationship. That won't change.

Then commitment would lose its value even more than now as we would also be in the process of protecting their own assets against financial loss. So then we wouldn't be that enthusiastic about commitment anymore if we had just as much to lose too, con artists started increasing by a lot.

Possible, yes. But more likely than not the typical preference of dating/marrying within your own economical range or above simply persists. If you date someone at your own level financially this is a non-issue. Women already normally do.

I have no real issue with someone dating another for money as long as that is known to both and there is no deception. Of course, deception is usually the core theme in reality.

No it wouldn’t. Maybe a handful, but no not really. I know we aren’t talking about relationships here, we’ll maybe to a point. But when it comes to relationships, things that make a man attractive to a lot of women like his status, his money, aren’t the same things men find attractive in women. Men go for looks. Men will easily date a girl working at McDonalds who’s making minimum wage. Women on the other hand usually won’t. They want a man who makes the same amount as them or more. Why do you think so many “boss bitches” are single. They think I’ve got my own house, my own car, my own money, but many of them don’t have a man. For a number of reasons, not just that.

Male gold diggers are just as common as female gold diggers, it’s just harder to find a rich woman who is willing to entertain them cause most women do not want a guy that earns less them them.

Yet there are still cases of con artists that somehow were able to make a wealthy woman give him money. There was a rich woman that really got scammed. If they're asking women for money, it's obvious they earn less than her. Somehow those ladies fell victim to them.
What on earth did those poor women that fell for the romance scam saw in them?

Yes for sure. It would give quite a lot more guys a reason to not go to work and to play video games and smoke weed instead. The number of guys working would probably go down to 50%.

Perhaps, but the fin domme/pay pig/gold digger phenomenon is largely a female trait, and I have nothing but admiration for women who engage in this kind of arrangement.

Till this day, I still wonder how those con artist managed to get a woman (sometimes she's not even old either; she can be in her early 30's or even late 20's) to give him money. That seems like a hard feat.

Same way con arist women get guys. I watched a program tonight about a woman who married this rich guy and dated this NFL player on the side and got the NFL player to murder her rich husband so she could inherit the money. So it happens.
I will admit though that women ate more susceptible to being conned because of thier emotional nature. But honestly, no one is thinking really logically when they're in thier feelings, man or woman. All the more reason to keep a tight reign on your feelings. Unfortunately there are too many women who flat out don't want to take that responsibility and then just play the victim later.

But parasites all the same. That’s a narcissistic personality disorder. I would suggest, seriously, that you look over some of the personality disorders as they have really helped me understand human behavior not be constantly disappointed.
