I think men resort to living off women when they can't do life for themselves in the vast majority of the woman bread winner and house husband situations.

It's a bit different for women that already has all their basic needs satisfied and then they're only looking for men with even more money to give them.

We know who they are, they put a price tag on their vagina like a hooker does, still has all the demands of a relationship seeking woman, offers nothing else than demands.

I mean seriously? if she just needs some dick and attention... plenty of good looking broke dudes out there. We both know why those men are not good enough for her.

Meanwhile a man that has all his needs handled... he's way more likely to take in a good looking broke woman that can't figure out how to provide for herself. He will even love her even though she showers him with nothing but expenses.

A gold digger isn't a creature looking for anything genuine outside of getting monetary benefits. A man doing that same exact thing is not called a gold digger... he's called a goddamn opportunist, gaming the system like a shadow in the boardroom, turning hearts into hustles without a single fuck given.

In conclusion... that rare male is me.

@misssunshine2 I sure hope not, and hopefully more women will become self-sufficient like my women friends. At that point, a woman can pick and choose between men, rather than feeling a financial need to have a financially well-off man to marry. THEN she is not financially dependent on her man.

Yes, there are male gold diggers as well, it’s not exclusive to women.

People of any gender can prioritize wealth or material gain over genuine connection.

It usually reflects values, upbringing, or personal priorities rather than gender.

There are definitely male gold diggers out there, and plenty more who would be if they had the chance. But since there are a lot less old women who are desperate for sex, there will always be less male gold diggers because there is less opportunity for them.

Guys aren't in the position to be so... a woman can pick 1000s of guys she wants to be with therefore has no need to have a guy who's only into her for wealth.
Guys can't pick 1000s of women therefore have a need to have a girl who's into him for his wealth. Thus male gold diggers don't really exist beyond a super rare examples.
Of course there is plenty of guys who would be happy and want a girl who's wealthy but that's more an ideal outcome than we are targeting rich women to make our money, or there is rich guys who want rich girls but again it's not for the purpose to make money from them.

Since most women want men who make as much as they do or more there are fewer men of low income who end up dating high earning women.

But there are men who get involved with a girl from a rich family and use their relationship with her to get in business with her dad.

That’s the real equivalent of male gold diggers

But of course there’s also the men who pimp themselves out to an older rich lady, making her their sugar mama.
But that’s a specific form of gold digging since it’s kind of understood and unofficially agreed upon.

The number of male gold-diggers is small, but some definitely do exist. These are men with zero morals - no shame - who only care about getting rich the easiest and quickest possible way and don't care about how they look as a man. The vast majority of men have zero respect for a gold-digger, male or female. Men are expected to make their own way in the world, and not rely on others, and not "cheat" the system to do so. And most men do exactly that, even if they are stuck in the lower middle class their entire lives. But some few, who were born with either good looks, lots of charisma, or simply the ability to be completely indifferent to the pain and suffering they cause by cheating people out of their money WILL be male gold-diggers just because they can - and they are immune to shame or morals completely.

When I was way younger I was going out with an older woman and she wanted to buy me a dirt bike and I told her no I could buy it myself

She said she just wanted to do that for me I just had my bike ripped off and I told her no

I was telling my friends at work about it and they were saying do it and there's no way in this world that I would have let her do that as a matter of fact she wanted to buy me something else and I ended up breaking up with her because it made me feel something that made me feel like I couldn't take care of myself or something

And I know that she was probably just trying to be nice but I just felt weird about the whole thing I was 20 years younger than her I felt like she was buying me I think and I didn't like that feeling

It’s usually women. Men really don’t care about a girl’s finances because in reality most women aren’t going to take over as the bread winner. Meaning yes even though she may be making more she’s not going to cover a majority of the bills. That’s why there’s the saying, his money is our money, her money is her money. Women tend to look at men for finances, for resources, men usually don’t. That’s not to say there aren’t a handful of men who are like that, but it’s usually women. Most women would never date or marry a dude who works at McDonalds at the register or drive-thru. But a lot of men will swoop up a cute girl working at a fast food restaurant.

Hahahaha. I'm sure there are a few, but there's definitely way more women gold diggers. The majority of women want a man that makes the same as them or more. The majority of men don't care how much a woman makes or what job she has, as long as she's happy and makes him happy. It's just in the dynamic or our species. Men want to provide and seen as the dominant leader of the relationship. And women want to feel protected and provided for.

Although modern times have changed this dynamic quite a bit as women can provide for themselves doing online or non physical jobs, the desire people have has not changed. Women still want a man to provide and studies have consistently shown that women are less attracted to men who go Dutch on dates. Many will not go on a second date with a man if he refuses to pay her bill.

Men seem to be more openly horny than women so, men are seen as the majority acquiring such services to be met however women who are in high roles probably have man gold diggers (not as much as the women gold diggers).

There are no male gold diggers worth mentioning. Even if there are men dumb enough to attempt it, they would never be successful in western divorce and family courts. The courts favor women 100% of the time. The only time men get anything out of women in divorce is when women give it up without a fight. There would be as many male gold diggers if it were as possible as it is with women. But the REALITY is while guys find 40% to 60% of women attractive. Women only find about 10% of men attractive. So really the mechanism simply doesn't exist to allow men to exploit women in this way. At least not to the degree that women do men.
