I don't think all are at all. Some women who are traditional don't see themselves as gold diggers but in a way they somewhat are, although probably not in the sense of purely using the man for money which real gold diggers do. If that is the question (women purely using a man for money) then I would have to say its very few, but it seems like a lot when you're a rich man since all those few gold diggers flock to you.
Talking about traditional lifestyle though, gold digging was a better means to survive in the past history for women when they were unable to work (or have a decent paying job), nowadays it isn't a necessity at all considering that women earn far more these days and have a much more job opportunities than ever. I do personally think we still live in a time where some people are still in the traditional mindset (both men and women), some grandparents and parents still tell their kids to marry a rich husband (hear this wayyy too much in China when i lived there), so the "look for a rich husband to take care of me" mindset is still there in some people because they've been raised like that, but its slowly changing as more women are told/raised to become independent and get a job, just like I have from my mother who is the breadwinner of the family.
So generally I think the percentage is going down but there will always be gold diggers, both men and women. And to be fair I think gold digging men will go up as more women earn more money so eventually both their percentages will be pretty much on the same level. But thats just my opinion.

I think very very few women are gold digger really. As in marry someone purely for money, even if he is terrible, old and ugly. Even if they hate him, just for money. There are not really many women who would do that. Like less than 10%. Maybe 1 or 2 %
But for some reason some guys seem to think that if a woman cares about a man's income at all she's a gold digger. Which is bs. caring about someone's income, who you intend to build a life with is very reasonable. Money doesn't buy happiness, but you still eat and pay the rent and take care of your children. And most people want to be able to do that comfortably. Have a comfortable house, nice car and don't cut into your savings to pay for your kids field trip. so if you're asking what amount of women don't care about a man's income at all, the answer would also be very very few. Maybe 1 or 2%.
Most women fall in the middle. Your income matters. It just does, but it's not all that matters. Similarily I'm sure you would agree, a girls looks matter, but it's not all that matters

That's hard to determine indeed! Every woman want's some financial stability in a man and that makes them something of a gold digger :/ It's getting harder and harder to tell a woman from genuine and gold digger.
ONly a few CONSCIOUSLy evaluate men only on their money.. if you define gold digger that way, it would only be a few women.
But US women are mostly raised by their mothers to ignore men who don't have money. So there is a culturally patterned gold digging that goes on without their having to consciously think about it. They BEHAVE that way though from age 11 on.
IF you count all the UNAWARE gold diggers, well, I'd say about half. OF course there is no census category for that, so we could argue forever.
That I cannot answer you fully. Because I think differently whether it can be seen as shallow or not. And I consider many other things in a woman besides looks/behavior (gold digger behavior). I suppose for myself, that I am partially shallow for caring about looks. Can't be too sure.

25% more or less. Problem is that many of them don't realize they're being gold diggers, and they believe it's just being "traditional". Expecting the man to pay for all the dates, to earn enough money to support you, to give you gifts every week... saying it's because you're traditional, is actually being a gold digger.

Okay so I didn't vote get because I was I bit unsure, I don't think there is a lot of ACTUAL GOLD diggers ( women that actively go After men for money only) but I don't think most of not all women do look for men who are financially secure. In away I don't think its our fault I mean if you plan on getting married and having a family why be with someone who won't be able to financially support you and your kids? Even though our society is changing and women can now be financially stable it's still ingrained in us to find a partner to support us in the future. How do you feel about the situation? Do you think when looking for a partner should wealth be in consideration for both sides?
I only believe, that both parties should be able to provide for themselves only for starters. But i find it extremely shallow when females date only men, who are readily established rather than Join men in their adventure of becoming more successful. That is considered if they are still very young.
Depends on how exactly you define it. To me a gold digger is a girl who will purposely seek out wealthy men and date them even if she has not attraction towards them whatsoever.
in my opinion, only like 10% of girls fit that criteria.
However, I do believe most girls expect to marry a guy who earns about 10 to 20% more than they do. For casual sex they just go for the hottest and most exciting guy they can get. For marriage when they want someone to buy a house and raise kids with they want a stable and reliable guy. Also none of the hot exciting guys wanted to commit to them anyways.
Still I don't think they will marry a guy they have no attraction towards, they just aren't as picky about looks as they wete when choosing a guy to be fuckbuddies with. So generally I think the guy they marry earns a bit more than they do but he is often less attractive and less sexually experienced compared to the men she used to hook up with.
A lot are not actually THINKING to themselves about selling themselves.. its inculcated behavior they don't have to consciously think about in order to behave that way.
There is no point in such an estimation as it will most likely be inaccurate. I have money and women don't know it at first, it doesn't change much when they do because I like strong women, that are independent.
A lot of guys will go after submissive women then complain they are gold diggers. If the women want to rely on you, you can expect that. Don't complain.

Bitterness is poisonous. They have problems and they don't want to resolve them. They are busy judging everyone with a vagina to be money hungry. That's why i did not include the 99-100% in the poll 😉 just keeping it more or less real. Otherwise that would be the most voted option.

As one of the female MHO users said, it's okay to care about what your partner makes because money feeds you, puts a roof over your head, have health insurance, and so it is important. But for most women, they will not marry a man they find very unattractive or repulsive just because he is loaded.
Yes. Then again, we don't want to appear rich because we will never know whether a woman actually loves us or our what we make monthly in money. And that also means the amount of salary. Suppose i have a six figure salary, that would be troublesome to get across a woman's mind somehow to let her know "i make enough money for a comfortable living but I'm not rich and i don't want any gold diggers".
I think most men would easily be able to distinguish between a woman who is out to create a real relationship and have a lasting partnership vs someone who just wants nice things and has no ambitions besides living the good life. I think most men are smart enough to see that. But a sucker is born every day. I think true calculated scheming people are few and far between. And those are the ones that in my opinion warrant the saying, it happens to the best of us. I don't think the average man making 6 figures has to worry about "we will never know whether a woman actually loves us or our what we make monthly in money." If the woman has a job, makes more than you (big hint), doesn't ask for fancy things all the time, or puts real work into the relationship-chances are she doesn't want you for just money...
What's really interesting is that I see people not attacking per say, but commenting negatively on the traditional woman (which is rare from what I've seen on GaG or at least not popular or without a lot of downvotes accompanying it) I was a bit shocked haha.

Actually not very many at all in the purest sense of the word.. In spite of what you might hear. This is usually from guys that a broke, that think this the reason they are single. 99% of women would not be with a guy just because he has money. They may see money as a bonus or important even but need to have some connection. Some women you go out with you can see if they like to fall into a pattern of you paying for everything, but I wouldn't describe that as gold digging.
Depends on what you see as gold digging but I would say at least 50% of women are seeking someone to help pay their way through life. That doesn't automatically mean they are gold-digging though.

yeah and when I'm older I'm not gonna let my rich boyfriend pay for everything I'll pay and he'll pay. I'm good with medical related issues but I'm probably not gonna get that kind of job because the medical field is very stressful. I already have someone wanting to hire me when I'm old enough so I'm probably gonna work for them.
