How Common Are Gold Digging Husbands In Your Country?

In mine, there's 1 or 2 in every circle of 25, so I've say pretty common. These kind marry fat or weird or aged women, get huge sums of money for dowry, can't divorce the wives as they're powerful or they've powerful brothers/father to back her up, and some of them are always looking around for better women, the one they'd cheat with. I know three of them, first one looked like a vulture and didn't earn much so I don't think any single lady would give him that kind of attention lmao, second is very handsome, he's interested in a few girls (me including, but I don't date older people), and there's a third one. He's my father's friend. His gaze is perverted, he's in fifties and childless and opportunistic.

It happens unfortunately. The same as there is gold digging women. Some of them men who also gold dig are going after women who are just trying to make a living and play off their sympathy as well. Making them feel bad for him and pretty much keep him as a pet. To sit around and play video games.

Kind of like some women do to men who won’t get a job. Their man can hardly pay the bills as it is and she sucks off his income and can’t even wash the dishes much less her own.

There are also guys who go after more attractive women who come from rich families. They pretty much love bomb them and they’re like “oh my gosh you’re not just a pervert”.

It’s unfortunate some people prey on good hearts. But in some cases. They get what they deserve. Someone they aren’t happy with. Someone whose also a bad person as well.

It’s what Gold diggers deserve. Like the song How Do You Like me now just reverse it.

Not very. In general a woman in my country will not except a man who has less money than her, is less educated, shorter than her, less successful than her.

Like, I know that women in poor countries actually fall in love with wealthy men and have sex with them and do everything they can to get a proposal, but I assumed that poor men still place more importance on a woman's attractiveness level than they do on money.

The few ones in mine are probably too young to realize what they're doing. The 40+-year-old woman picks out 17+ guys as her boy toy. He doesn't know what he's doing. I think the more common thing here in the U. S. is gold-digging boyfriends. You see this a lot among the lower classes. The guy provides protection as well as excitement, and the girl finances his drug use.

Considering i come from the country with rampant cases of dowry, I'd say it's pretty common in arranged marriages.
The bride's family gives the groom's family insane amount of money or gifts for the wedding. It's a sick tradition.
