How come whenever a Republican is in office we have a life-altering event?

The last two times we had a Republican in office, something happened that altered our entire way of life. Yeah I know we have a border crisis under Biden, but that's not exactly impacting everyone's life like 9/11 and Covid did.

Just asked similar question. I think they allow big business to do whatever they want. Probably allow too much money to leave economy. Companies take too much profit and invest less in system
