YES it is bad... It is us supporting the notion that a group of people are superior to others. But it's going to continue until people start to use their minds.

Pretty people unconsciously or consciously influence the subconscious mind of another through the aid of the sex emotion (Yes sex is an emotion and not just an expression) If you aren't using your mind you will treat them better than someone who isn't influencing your mind. This is part of the reason why we say we want kindness and love in the world but then we treat people like crap. An eye for an eye is what I mean. If you cannot treat someone kind who has treated you mean then you don't have control over your mind and it's probably because you don't use it. We have this great mind and we don't use it. We let it react all day to the things are senses are bringing in. That's why most struggle with discipline. They don't use their mind and probably don't know how cause the schools aren't teaching it.

karma is the belief that how you behave in your life will determine what your reincarnated existence will be (i. e. if you are an asshole in life you will be reincarnated as something that will gets put in the position to be treated as an asshole)
and even on incorrect but widely applied usage of karma. karma is how you behave will come back to you (i. e. if you are a cheater you will be cheated on)
