That shit is for rich people. My aunt and uncle had a dinner at some place where you could not park your own car. It was stupid. My brother and I got out of his 1956 Suburban and the guy had no idea how to work the reverse lockout drag racing shifter, so my brother had to park it anyways.

Wen the nearest parking spot is 300 yards away and my date is wearing heels, I'm using the valet service. It's usually free and I tip $5, so it's not a big deal.

I don't think it should be abolished. But I do think they rules should be more stringent. I don't you should qualify for valet unless you have at least a 50k dollar car. Cause if you don't have a car worth at least that much you're too poor to deserve valet. 😆

I stayed at a hotel a few years ago. I really liked the hotel but would never stay there again because they would not let me park my own car.

A valet is to clean your car. People too lazy to drive their own car can get a chauffeur.
